My husband and I were "jonesin" for a juicy burger. We figured Guppys or Linbergers, but at the last minute, my husband Bert decided on checking out Buckys again, since the last time the reason we did not go in was due to no convenient parking. We lucked out with a rock star parking space this time. Ok, got in; very upscale and cozy. The name throws you off. We ordered the All-American Burger with Sweet Potato Fries and regular fries. We agreed it was the best burger we've had in a long time. Actually, the only thing was the bun has to be a little heartier or toasted more to keep up with the size and non-stop juiciness of the meat. The sweet potato fries were moist on the inside and cooked well-done on the outside; Perfection. The service was great. The staff seems very happy to be working together.

We've been here twice. First time was better than the 2nd. Don't think we'll try it a third time.
The outside dining tables are small and uncomfortable. Getting into the parking lot can be frustrating. Another one of those special "Boca" places with valet parking that sucks up more than enough spots to make it hard to park. If you sit inside DONT sit under an A/C diffuser - one of us got dripped on all night and management didn't seem to really care. That is some nasty water dripping on your food from a dusty A/C vent.
Stick with the ribs. Pork and beef are both very good. Mashed taters and the creamed spinach are also very good.
The smoked fish dip had undercooked salmon in it. Still opaque. The salmon caesar salad had the some undercooked salmon (well same chef maybe). To their credit they took it off the bill.
Desserts aren't exciting. Sweet Potato Pie Cheesecake had me drooling but was a bland waste of of $6 or $7.
Service is pretty good.
A lot of room for improvement. In the fickle restaurant business of S. Palm Beach county - don't know if I'd bet on this one. Much more consistent food at Mississippi Sweets on Federal Hwy.

Bucky's Bar-B-Que, located on the corner of Glades Rd., and Dixie Highway is one of the most outstanding BBQ restaurants I have ever been to. Their BBQ sauce, homemade, is out of this world. Their menu is small and their prices a little on the high side, but who needs a menu with 50 different dishes on it? They have a small offering of about a dozen different dishes, ranging from various types of ribs, to steak and salmon. We started our meal with the smoked salmon fish dip, which was a huge mound of smoked salmon, that was obviously homemade, with chunks of salmon in it and served with triangles of melba toast. There was so much we couldn't eat it all. For our main course, I had the salmon with a sweet BBQ glaze on it, with a side of broccoli. The salmon was a pretty decent size and the broccoli was fresh, not frozen and steamed to perfection. My other half had a rack of ribs with what he said were the best baked beans he had ever had in his life. This was served with a mountain of garlic mashed potatoes that could have easily served 4 people. On top of all that, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive and right on top of everything. The place is a little small, probably seating for only about 60 patrons, but the atmosphere is quite nice. We went on a night that fortunately was slow, so there was no wait. However, we have heard that on a busy night the wait can be lengthy.I highly recommend Bucky's, if you enjoy BBQ. The higher cost is definitely worth what you get in return.

PROS: Wonderful food and service. All around a great place
CONS: On busy nights and weekends, the wait can be lengthy
