Their BBQ sauce, homemade, is out of this world. Their menu is small and their prices a little on the high side, but who needs a menu with 50 different dishes on it? They have a small offering of about a dozen different dishes, ranging from various types of ribs, to steak and salmon. We started our meal with the smoked salmon fish dip, which was a huge mound of smoked salmon, that was obviously homemade, with chunks of salmon in it and served with triangles of melba toast. There was so much we couldn't eat it all. For our main course, I had the salmon with a sweet BBQ glaze on it, with a side of broccoli. The salmon was a pretty decent size and the broccoli was fresh, not frozen and steamed to perfection. My other half had a rack of ribs with what he said were the best baked beans he had ever had in his life. This was served with a mountain of garlic mashed potatoes that could have easily served 4 people. On top of all that, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive and right on top of everything. The place is a little small, probably seating for only about 60 patrons, but the atmosphere is quite nice. We went on a night that fortunately was slow, so there was no wait. However, we have heard that on a busy night the wait can be lengthy.I highly recommend Bucky's, if you enjoy BBQ. The higher cost is definitely worth what you get in return.</p> <p>PROS: Wonderful food and service.
