Eddie's Shoe Repair has always been the place to go for expert Shoe Repairing. These guys know and like what they are doing, just stop by their shop and you will realize these guys have to much fun at what they are doing. The prices are good and their attention to detail is second to none.
Macy's reccomended them to me a few years ago, it appears they have been doing all the repair work for Macy's for over 50 years.
I used to go to Beverly Hills for my high end shoe repair. Now I can get my shoes repaired by one of the oldest family shops around. I think they opened in 1946 and are still going strong three generations later. What can I say, the work is second to none and the prices are much less expensive than Beverly Hills. They even take credit cards which my favorite shop in Beverly Hills did not. They always make me very happy when I pick up my reconditioned shoes, I don't even check the order, they always get it right.
Pros: Experiance & Price
Cons: Only one location
One of my Best local finds this year. I take my collection of Christian Louboutins to Eddie's for all my servicing needs. The staff are sticklers for attention to detail and less expensive than anything on the westside. They also have the right magic red soles for my Christian Louboutins.
Pros: Three Generations of Experiance
extremity rude and the worst customer service I have experienced in years.

He has it decorated with the Best Rock And Roll photos I have ever seen and he is the photographer. His talent dosn't stop their, the quality of his work is the best you can find. The work is done quickly and flawlessly for one of the most resonable prices around. The best part is he really listens to what you want done and then goes a step further, there just can not be another Shoe Repair that comes close
Pros: The Best of everything
Cons: Closed Sunday & Monday
Wow, the cleanist shoe repair I have ever seen. They even did a great job of decorating it.
They also are very skilled at repairing shoes, handbags or anything related. They really pay attention to your requests, I always leave there knowing my shoes are in good hands. Prices are good and the time they take to repair them is really quick compared to other shops I have been to.If they can't do something they have great reccomendations for related service's.
Pros: Quality, Quality, Quality
Cons: Only open Tuesday threw Saturday
I just discovered the best shoe repair in los angeles using citysearch.I brought in my Christian Louboutin shoes for restoration with some of my other designer shoes. They added a special Red protective to my Christian Louboutin shoes you know the ones with the famous Red soles.Needless to say I loved the attention to detail and the VIP service. Best of all they understand my needs and I dont feel like some shoe freak when I ask for something special.
Pros: One stop shopping, they do everything
Cons: They appear to be the only ones that get it
The other day I brought in a new pair of shoes that were tearing my feet apart, seriously, I have the scars to prove it! I was so sad because I thought I was just going to have to throw them out, but a friend sent me to this place. I don't know how they did it, but my shoes fit great now, it's like they were made to fit me! Greg was so helpful and the store had a very pleasant environment, I can't wait to bring all my other ill fitting shoes I thought were useless.
Pros: Best shoe service around
I brought my Indiana Jones boots to Eddie's for a pair of soles. After talking with the owner, Greg, for some time about options, he found the perfect soles - a set of vintage Cats Paw soles in the tradition of the replica boots I just spent a small fortune on. The re-soling of the boots was beyond my expectations, especially the stitching and the use of brass nails in just the right pattern. Like a piece of furniture, you could even see the different colors of leather on the side of the sole and heels after they had sanded and restained them.
They also did another stunning job on resoling my Ferragamos with a German oiled leather full sole. The price was good and they stopped everything they were doing so I could have my shoes the same day. Now I just want to search my closet to see what wonders they can do on my other favorites.
Pros: You get what you pay for and more.
Cons: They dont take credit cards
Eddie's Shoe Repair is the real deal, wonderful service, good prices and they know their trade. I always walk away from Eddie's with a smile on my face. Their work is second to none and the turn around time is quick. Anything in leather care and these guys are spot on. Ask for Greg, the owner, he is the third generation in the same location.
Pros: Professional Service
Cons: I didn't find the shop until 2004
This is the only place I trust my shoes for repair, the shop is well organized and clean. When you see what the owner (Greg) has done with the shop you will realize he is a true craftsman in his trade.
If every service buisness was run like eddie's we would no longer worry of inexperienced people damaging our goods. The work is the best I have seen and I am very picky. It's just a fun place to go to keep your shoes in shape.
Pros: Real quality craftsmanship from the best in there trade
Cons: They are one of the few who get it
I've been going to Eddie's Shoe Repair in Sherman Oaks for at least 5 years. I bring everything to Greg and have always been pleased with the work that has been done. From my favorite Gucci shoes to my leather handbags and even my husband's motorcycle boots. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Pros: Thumbs way up! Parking on street in front or in the back.
Here's once of the coolest places in town. Greg and Paul are masters at taking my old, worn out shoes and making them like new. The shop is also well decorated and doesn't look like an old workshop.
Pros: good prices, fast service
Cons: not open Sundays
