This is a nice little place in a great location. The beer is excellent. They are a real brewery and vary the beers that they offer. Around the holidays, a beer called "Red Leaf" winter ale is usually available. It has a great hoppy taste, but it also packs a punch. Make sure you have a designated driver if you have one of these babies because the alcohol content is high. The pale ale and india pale ales that they brew is also very good. I am not really a porter person, but the thick, rich, dark coffe style porter is pretty good. The food is good, but I go for the beer. They also have live music on weekends. Definitely a fun place.

I came here on a Friday night to hear two great groups sing. They place was packed, and I meant to the point where I seriously thought it was over capacity. My friend had to wait 20 minutes to get a menu because they were all out. We had to wait at least 20 minutes before our order was taken. When our food arrived, it was lukewarm. We had to wait another 10 minutes to eat because we didn't have any utensils or condiments to go with our food. The food was not worth waiting for. I had a vegetarian black bean burger with fries and a salad. The burger came with the tiniest tomato, 1 wilted lettuce leaf, and 2 dinky onions.

It may be worth it to go to hear the bands, which were awesome on this Friday, but don't eat the food or expect good service. Drinks are pricey -- a gin and tonic was $7.50.
