My husband and I have leased MANY cars over the years and I'm VERY disappointed with Schumacher Saab from start to finish. Our sales person was less then helpful, they were running a "special" and his attitude was basically take it or leave it, no sales involved what so ever. SAAB came highly recommended, so despite the poor salesman we decided to lease one, which I would never do again. We've had our SAAB in for service/repairs more times than most of our other cars combined. Their service department is good, but I wouldn't say great. They say they will fix it in a certain amount of time and they do, I wouldn't consider that spectacular service, I would call it doing what they promised. Unlike most dealerships Schumacher Saab inspects AFTER you turn your car in, so your at their mercy and charged off their price list if something is wrong that you didn't notice. A month or so before my maturity date I had to get my car 30K service, which was free. While it was there the service tech looked the car over and said everything looks great. The amount of wear and tear was normal, if anything better then normal. I trusted his judgement, but still used my "wear and tear" card that SAAB provided in my return packet just to make sure I didn't need to get anything fixed. Two of the tires in my opinon where right there and I didn't want to chance it, so I had the two tires replaced. My other two tires were replaced about about a year before, just months apart from one another and they were both well above what was considered acceptable. Two weeks after I turned my vechicle in SAAB called me asking if I turned my car in. Come to find out Schumacher never faxed over my paperwork, so SAAB had no clue where my car was and assumed I still had it. In my return packet It stated my car would be inspected within 24-48 after turn in and mine was inspected 22 days after. To my suprise I got charged for wear and tear on one tire, plus the disposition fee, tax, etc. I didn't see a disposition fee anywhere in my paperwork nor did my "not so helpful" sales person disclose it, but why would he. All the other cars I've bought you pay the disposition up front and the car is inspected BEFORE you turn it in. Needless to say I have a nice big bill, which I'm more upset about having to pay for a new tire because I'm sure some where in my paperwork in very small print the disposition fee is disclosed and it was an oversight on my part. However being in sales the right thing to do is disclose disclose disclose, it's how you get happy customers who then refer everyone they know to you. I think that's taught in "how to sell 101." I wouldn't recommend buying a SAAB and if you think it's the car for you certainly don't go to Schumacher.

My wife has returned for various services on her 2003 SAAB and has always had excellant service from this dealership. The vehicle repairs are always done properly and completed on time. The service personel treat us like royalty and are quite knowlagible about repairs and the vehicles themselves.

Pros: Great service and great treatment.
Cons: I'd like them even better if they would give me a free car!!
