Dr. Gibbs has been my family doctor for almost 25 years-from taking my children to see him to just myself now- He is absolutely the best doctor-in all of these years & appointments he has listened every time to what I had to say Dr Gibbs has always taken his time to explain to me exactly what I or my children had & is always asking me if I have any other questions or concerns-he is always so very courteous-He gives a patient the feeling that he all day just for them !!! While the office staff has had some problems & many turnovers in these years-I don't go to see them I go to see Dr Gibbs !!!!

Dr Gibbs has been my doctor for OVER 20 years and I am NOT ever going to go back to him, which is a shame as I love the man with all my heart. He is a brilliant doctor, and I'll probably never find a doctor with the same qualities. However, having said this, you'd think that with 20+ years of medical history my chart would be easy enough for his staff to locate (mine is no skinny chart), but it is lost yet AGAIN in his office by the most incredibly incompetent office staff that I have ever met in my entire life. With numerous, (serious), medical problems I now have to find a new doctor taking with me no previous medical charts - because somehow this file, full of my personal information has taken legs.

His staff has angered a pharmacy to the point that they refuse to call his office ever again for refills, and they too have had made numerous comments about the lost files, rude staff etc. The pharmacist told me she always heard he was a "good doctor" - HE is, but he doesn't have the staff to back him and it is at the expense to the patients (who knows how much this has hurt his career - I am telling you this is absolutely, hands down, the best doctor you'll ever find).

He specializes in different areas, including the back but sees patients for family practice too.

My advice: If you're beating your head against the wall trying to resolve a health issue or pain problem - go see him. He'll diagnose you on the first trip without a ton of unnecessary tests. But, don't think you'll be able to see him as a regular doctor without problems getting appointments, waiting hours (sometimes as long as 4 to 6 hours for an appointment) and getting Rx refills (ha ha - forget that).

Dr. Gibbs is a kind, caring, compassionate and attentive physician. I The examination was efficient and thorough. Tests were ran, results received and treatment recommended. I was perfectly satisfied with the results.

However, I was not satisfied with several other things. The waiting times for appointments were terrible! Many people were scheduled at the same time and the waiting room was so packed that people had to wait outside.

There was also a problem with the staff losing my medical records. Every time I called for follow up, they could not find my file. I was told several time that they would locate it and call me back. Usually I was the one to call back several times before I received the information I needed. Sometimes it?s hard to even get a live person on the phone.

Another problem I had was with the staff calling prescription refills. I was often told that they would take care of it but it would be days and several follow up calls on my part before this was done. The last time I was out of town and asked them to call in a refill where I was located. I was at first told that I needed to see the doctor. I had to call twice to explain that I was out of town before they finally agreed to call it in. After several calls to the pharmacy and several calls to the office, they still hadn?t called it in. I was once again told that they would call me back but they never did. I didn?t bother to call them again.

The good things to mention are that location is easy to find. Parking is easy though you may have to walk a little ways to get to the office.
