The Providence Bakery is a little know jewel in town. Located out of the central business district, you might miss it if your didn't know where to look. Believe me it's well worth searching out.

It's a very small family owned and operated business. When I say family operated that's exactly what I mean. The Mendez family work very hard to provide you with fresh bakery goods. The children are often present to greet you and assist with your purchases.

They have so many delightful things that it's hard to choose. But fear not, prices are so reasonable that you can afford to choose many special treats. We purchased 5 pastries and two bags of tortillas for under $7.00. My favorites were the apple, cherry and pineapple "turnovers". Their tortillas are fresh and they have both corn and flower. They also offer breakfast, burritos, enchiladas and tamales but it's wise to call ahead with your order.

Hours are 7am-7pm and parking is plentiful. This is a must visit bakery!
