I was assigned a dentist named Dr. Grzalious (not sure the spelling). I maybe seen this guy twice and I think he is supposed to be my dentist because his name is all over the paperwork in front of me. Everytime I go to this place I see someone new. New set of hands and a new set of excuses. I was sold a root canal, crown, and a core- whatever that means but i was charged $2251.00 to have this one tooth saved. This was done about 16-17 months ago, January 24th 2012 to be exact. Come to find out this tooth has no opposing tooth on top so now the excuse they gave is that the ligament is pushing the cap up because of no opposite pressure from normal chewing food. Now they want to extract the tooth but free of charge. It seems to be a bit wild of an idea to spend $2251 and a year and a half later throw it away? They took two other molars from this area- why was this not extracted in the first place? It has no tooth on top to chew- therefore it's useless!

In the beginning, this place was outstanding. After a few appointments I have reached the conclusion that i'm not going back there. The way I see it is they owe me $2251 for a useless idea and pain and suffering. This place only cares about its paycheck and not any customer!

I have had a few cleanings and each time since all the major work was done, they have had to make some repair or modification to chipped fillings or fallen out fillings. I wonder what happens when a filling falls out and you swallow it- I wonder what it does to your insides as I would imagine it has sharp edges

While in the waiting room i overheard a woman complaining they had lost the screws to do her implant. The poor lady was complaining that she couldn't even eat without it. The receptionist told the lady all she could do is reschedule her appointment for later next week so they could re-order what they lost.

This place is not what it use to be. If you look at the edges of the floors as you walk the hallways you will see plenty of dirt and dust- nasty stuff you don't want to see in your dental hygiene office. The work areas are worse. I was asked to sit in a chair where you could see the sweat from another person was still on the chair. Don't they wipe the chairs down between customers?!!!

This place may be the cheapest place in town but I strongly suggest you go somewhere else and get it done correctly and not taken advantage of. I am sure you have been told "you get what you pay for" this is a perfect example to pay the best doctor you can find because once your mouth is messed up you get to deal with it.

Update- had "free" repair work done there to fix a filling and I was just having lunch and my first bite the whole filling just fell out, how nice. They can't even fix their own mistakes. I called 3 days ago and asked if an office manager would call me- no response at all.

This place is nothing more than a chop shop, run by hacks. Any doctors office that advertises as much as they do should tell you something about the practice. And getting braces from a dental office is like taking your car to a muffler shop for a paint job. This is why most dentists and orthodontists that I have seen in metro Detroit can't stand these guys. The most common reference is "hacks". Do not fall for their marketing, there's MUCH better dentists out there that aren't just out to make a buck. They actually care about their craft, and their patients.

They have the best hygienist there! The best. I recommend her to all of my friends. Have been seeing the same doctor for many years too. Very nice. Office is always clean. And it doesn??t have that nasty dental office smell. Good place to go. Took all my kids there when they were younger. Me and my wife still go all the time and we??ve always been happy. I like the late appointment times because it works with my work schedule. Great place.

I have to say Bright Side Dental is the best office I have ever been to. They are very nice and friendly and the office to run so efficiently. I used to go to another dentist for many years until he retired and was extremely happy with how clean and fun this office is. I thankfully didn??t need any work, fingers were crossed, and would definitely recommend this office to everyone. Great place to go. My dentist was a dr. holtman I believe. She was wonderful.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Gershonowicz (and then Dr Neme joined later) since 1979. They are very good dentist and very nice doctors. However, their office is ran so poorly I rufuse to go to bight side dental any more. I have spent hours in their waiting room. I have showed up for appointments than they say they can see you. The ladies at the front desk don't know what they are doing, and they don't even communicate with each other. I get 3 callssay I have an appointment I hate bight side dental and would not recommend them to anyone

I went to get a root canal and crown, and they misquoted me by $2000. They give crowns to everybody, so watch out!

We just become new patients and really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was very friendly and nice. It was very pleasant, considering the office we came from. There wasn??t much of a wait and my husband was able to get in same day for an emergency.

Regarding Care Credit. We also applied to for it, for my husband. If you need it, you definitely want to be cautions that you do your best to pay if off monthly otherwise, just like any credit card, there could be high fees. We however made it work and like the 12 month no interest financing. After reading the below review, its unfair to blame this on the dental office, they tried to help you pay for something you needed and its your fault for not paying your bills. Otherwise you wouldn??t be complaining.

I definitely recommend this office. Great place for kids and good atmosphere. We??ll be back for our cleanings and exams.

I took my daughter to Brightside Dental one year ago. I thought we were going to see Dr. Neme, but a the second appointment (following the intial visit) we ended up with some other dentist in the practice. I was not happy with the change, as my daughter is a little fearful of the dentist and she had been happy with Dr. Neme.

Anyway, my major complaint with the office is that they pressure you into signing up for Care Credit, which is a credit card through GE Money Bank, used only for medical bills. It sounds good, but you'll never end up paying it back, with all the fees they charge you. My $850 bill is up past $1200 right now.

I am disgusted with myself for letting them talk me into something that is going to end up costing at LEAST double what they charged. I am ultimately responsible for letting them pressure me into signing. I just want people to be aware and think twice before signing up for Care Credit, it's not worth it.

A few months ago I found out that my son was going to need braces. After shopping around for the best prices in our area, we decided to go to Bright Side Dental. The discount was the main reason we went and it was almost half what other dentists were charging. It pretty much was a no brainer for us. We definitely made the right decision and are very satisfied with the service we receive. I would recommend this office to anybody that needs braces. Best advice is to try to get early or late appointment times as these tend to book up pretty quick and the parking can be a little tight sometimes during the day.

Received bill in my name and tried several times to get it corrected to ex husbands name. They did nothing and sent it to collections. The billing department is a fraud.

We started seeing Dr. Gershonowitz many years ago when we first moved to Sterling Heights from North Carolina. We have been very pleased ever since. Now both of our children go here. Great place for families. I like the fact that my son can have his braces adjusted and I can get a cleaning in the same location. The staff is always very nice and friendly too. Definitely recommend this place especially if your new to the area and looking for a dentist.

I met with Dr. Gershonowicz in Sterling Heights after seeing Bright Sides ad on tv. He was very nice and helpful to me as I was scared of the dentist (and still am). Since I have not been to a dentist for years, and knew I needed a lot of work, they were great with explaining the treatment to me and reviewing the costs. Going into my appointment I have to say I was not expecting how helpful and friendly everyone in the office was. I read some of these reviews before my appointment. Everyone knows to check your insurance coverage before your appointment. If you can??t figure that out, it doesn??t say much about you. They Never Pressured me into anything and encouraged me to get a second opinion, which I did. I liked these guys better and when you visit other offices it??s easy to see why. I highly recommend these guys.

They are good at APPEARING to be efficient and economical but they're ACTUALLY just good at SALESMANSHIP. In the year I was a patient, I was deceived into thinking they were a participating provider for my dental coverage - they came off as experts on my insurance and when I questioned a charge they were quick to dismiss it as being dictated by my plan when it was really because they aren't affiliated and/or it's not a standard service (they only do porcelain fillings - insurance only covers metal fillings). They convince you of all the work you need and pressure you into having it done on the spot (not giving you time to get a second opinion or check your insurance). Don't let their referral bonuses fool you, this dental office is out to make money! They??ll suck you in (they had my husband convinced he needed a Sonicare and AUTOMATICALLY charged him $400 for it on his teeth-cleaning bill)! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I came to this office when I broke a tooth because my denti-phobe husband was very happy with his visit to them a couple years ago for an extraction. I arrived for a 9:45 a.m. appt at 9:40 a.m...and FINALLY left the office at 2:30 p.m. That was not so much an issue; however, the amount of time I have spent in discomfort after a difficult extraction, and TWO subsequent temporary bridges, has been ridiculous. I can only hope that my permant bridge will not cause me the amount of discomfort the temporary has -- or I will be taking my dental work elsewhere. The amount of pain I have experienced so far has cost me an awful lot of money.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Neme and associates at Bright Side dental for the past 3 years. I have always felt that even though their office is large and busy, Dr. Neme takes time to address and questions or concerns I may have. It is also always easy to get an appointment without much advance notice.

My husband and I have both had routine dental cleanings, as well as some more major dental work (root canals, etc) done at the office. All proceedures turned out well.

The fees at BrightSide have gone up quite a bit since the 3 years we have been going. The cleanings and x-ray visit costs almost $50 more than when we first started going.

A major downside to the office location is the parking, which is very cramped and our car was actually blocked in after coming out of an appointment a month ago.

This office is located on 19 Mile just off of Schoenherr Road in Sterling Heights. The parking is a little bit tight, but not impossible. This office is very bright and clean. There is an area for children to play. There is a TV to watch. There are magazines to read. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not have to wait long for my appointment. I was very impressed with all of their technology and knowledge. I also recommend their hygienists - very good at what they do. I do recommend this dental office.
