Alpha Automobile Sales, LLC

My name is Alexia, I bought a vehicle from Alpha. I really appreciated that they
explained the finance process. Most dealerships like to skim over this part and did not
explain things to me. I had the opportunity to Buy warranties on this "as-is"
alpha vehicle. I choose to accept one of the warranties Alpha offered. But, so far, I
have not had to use it. Alpha was very helpful and thoroughly explained everything before
I drove off the lot. There was no confusion. I wish all other dealership were this
thorough and considerate in the business. Thank you!

9/2009 We purchased a used car "as is" $3800.00 cashiers check. On the drive home (approx 8 miles) it overheated. Local mechanic same day told us $1500.00 to fix head gasket and CV joint. Car is undriveable as is. Salesman told my husband during test drive they only sell safe, mechanic checked vehicles that go through many check lists at Alphas. Car was for my 17 y/o daughter as a surprise, her first car......runied!! She cried. Car has been in shop since day we bought it, over a week, being fixed. We paid Blue book price for a working car and feel they lied by not telling us it had issues....I am certain they knew it had issues considering it broke down the day we bought it and the salesman's words that they sell only safe, mechanic checked vehicles. I understand used cars and it could break down, but same day as purchased and something so major? We would not have paid that price knowing there was something that major wrong with the car.My husband spoke with Alpha staff several times, we were open to about anything except what they offered...they would fix the head gasket only for $800.00 more dollars!! Why would we trust them to fix it? (mechanic est. $1000.00 plus for head gasket) And why should we have to pay them MORE MONEY to get a car working that should have worked in the first place for the price we had already paid??? Sounds like a scam to me!!??Now i know why they would take cash or cashier check only! BBB useless and THIS IS LEGAL?!? We checked into what we could do and we basically have no recourse due to vehicle age. They are no better than thieves! Do your research before! I see here that others have had issues with them, wish I would have known before hand! We looked on BBB site prior to purchase and they had an A- rating.... very misleading! We are now stuck with a used vehicle costing much more than it is worth and a totally ruined surprise. This was my daughters first car and was suppose to be a wonderful surprise and it was totally RUINED! I told the salesman about the surprise as we purchased vehicle! Hmmmm???? Wonder how they sleep at night?

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Had the car 3 days and the tire came off going down the interstate. Had it a month and the transmission went out driving down the road. Tried to have them fix it (bought the insurance) but they told me it was my problem and wouldn't do anything to help me. Now the engine has gone up on it and I haven't even had the car for 9 months. They rip you off and will not honor anything they say they will. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

BE CAREFUL!!! We bought a truck and a car from this company on the same day. Both are JUNK, Owner said "OH WELL". RIP OFF!!! Truck had bad fuel system, owner said they had to order parts but when parts came in we were told the truck was no longer covered by warranty. Car had mismatched tire that was "stolen" off the lot. Our cost to replace the tire to match the other 3 low profile tires. This place is the true definition of USED CAR DEALERS!!! We tried to take their sticker off the vehicles but they put them back on.

These reviews are either from the business owners, bogues or from people paid to lie. This is the epitome of the Used Car dealership. Sharks, thieves, liars...oh my! I have bought a lot of things in my life, but I have never handed someone $13,000 in CASH and been told "F You" and "I ain't doin' sh*t to help you". It just goes to show that you don't need to be intelligent to own your own business. Please read their reviews on YAHOO BUSINESS SEARCH and Better Business Bureau...it is loaded with VERY UNSATISFIED former customers. Buyers beware!!! They would not send me my plate when it arrived after they told me they would. The owner then wanted to charge me an additional fee to send it. HELLO??? That's against the law. I called the Used Car Motor Vehicle Commission and they then sent it. (without fee).

I am from Alexandria, I am happy I got me a car. Had credit messed up with my EX. and no one here would help me, they all told me I need cobuyer and lot of money down. I am a hard working mother of 2 kids. I couldn't wait to say it LOUD. THANK YOU ALPHA, They are on Johnston Street in Lafayette, LA. No body would give me a chance but they did . My name is Tibdeaux. I live in Abbe ville I went to many dealerships to buy a car and get it financed. I had only 1800 dollars to put down. All other dealership said I need a co-signer and need more money down. Let me tell you my sales person name was John. They help me and treated me nicely with respect even though I had bad credit. They approved me through a bank. My payments were under 285 monthly. I got a nice 2005 Chevy Malibu with low miles. I recommend ALPHA dealership to everybody. I send a friend of mine and she also purchased a nice car from them. They have lot of cars and trucks all looking good and low price, very nice people to work with. They will stand by with what has been promised.

I am glad to say that I had a great experience buying a used car at Alpha Automobile sales on Johnston Street. My car was in an accident and I was without wheels. My credit was not that good and at alpha they put me in a nice car and gave me 3 years of warranty with it. I like the honesty of the salesman who helped me, very pleasant and he treated me normal and gave me respect. I would recommend any body to try them. They are known to be a great in helping people who need a ride. I had recently send a good friend from Home Depot and they helped him too and to my surprise he went to buy one car and bought 2 cars for the deal he could not refuse. Thanks Alpha, keep up the good jobs you guys do. Kevin B.

If you choose to purchase a car thru Alpha, i would highly suggest getting a used car history. I have had my car just under 2 months now and it has been taken to 3 different mechanics. It has spent more time in the shop then in my driveway. It was deemed unsafe to drive by the last mechanic. It stalls out in the middle of traffic every few miles and i have been in many near accidents and also stranded on the side of the highway at night. The owner of Alpha has not been helpful and is in no way trying to rectify this situation.

I had to file a complaint with the BBB and sadly look into hiring a lawyer to since Alpha will not work with me.

Let me be plain and simple, I was treated right and they approved me in minutes. I have been to many other dealership and no body cared but at Alpha the sales people are nice. I saw the cars, They have good selection of nice cars. I am very happy with your sales experience. Thankyou.

Best and Reliable cars, They have nice used cars in Excellent condition.They got all Makes and Models so its a ONE STOP SHOPPING. They also offer warranties on all cars no matter what the miles are. Very well pleased with the service.
