i went here on a recommendation of a friend and loved my experience. i have been all over looking for someone who could get my hair-color right and i was overly impressed. i not only was happy with my color but my haircut was also amazing.Mustafa is fantastic.he is totally the kind of hairstylist who makes you feel good about you hair,your life and who you are as a person. i brought in some pictures to give him an idea of what i wanted and he looked at them and talked to me about what was good,what wasn't, and what would work well on me.it's great when stylists take time like that....it results in great hair and extreme customer

I brought in a picture from a magazine and he did it just right and then adjusted it to make it look better on me. Loved the cut and got tons of compliments from my friends. I would definately get my hair cut their again.

I am one of shohreh's clients who followed her from wash DC. to vienna. She is the best in this industry for sure. I would like for everybody to get their facials from her and see what a difference she makes, get their eyebrows done with her as she is THE QUEEN OF EYEBROWS defenitely in east coast, and last but not least she is like my therapist who always makes me feel good.
I would like to let everybody know that, THANK GOD, she moved from salon o tony to her beautiful, soothing, peaceful,tranquil spa.

My daughter and I can attest to the fact that Tony and his brother Mustafah care deeply about delivering the best customer experience and they do it time after time. Tony has been our stylist since before he opened his own salon --- and when he did, we couldn't have been happier.

We have never left the salon feeling unhappy with our color, cut or style. On the rare occasion that Tony doesn't interpret your instructions in precisely the way you expected, he works tirelessly on your hair until it's perfect.

The little extras you get at Salon O Tony -- an assortment of drinks, food if you're hungry, neck massage, as well as a fun and relaxing atmosphere -- are the whipped cream on top. What's the cherry on top? The smile on Tony's face as he listens to what you want, makes it happen and sends you on your way wanting to come back over and over again.

I'm surprised that many of these reviews mention price. We all know we get what we pay for -- and Tony always, always, always delivers. Be honest: You'd have to go to a low-end strip mall or a tacky mall salon to do better in terms of price in the D.C. metro area. You can do that, but you won't get the results you want.

To those who complain about the phone ringing or other glitches common in start-up business like Salon O Tony, I say, "You can make petty comments or you can have great hair. It's your choice."

After going to Salon O Tony for two years, I have only ever had wonderful experiences. Tony is a great stylist who listens to what you want and also offers great advice on styles and hair color that best suit you. He has amazing talents and my hair always looks like it came right off a page from a magazine. My husband gets his hair cut by Mustafa and he always gets a trendy affordable cut. I have recommended this salon numerous times and will continue to do so.

Tony is wonderful with hair ... I wouldn't go to anyone else. My first trip to Tony's salon was a fluke but now I won't go any where else. I can always count on great color and a wonderful cut. In fact, I was there yesterday and received numerous compliments on the cut today.

I've been going to Shohreh for more than two years now and have never been disappointed with her services. She got my unruly eyebrows under control and beautiful, and also totally cured my dry skin with her facials and recommended skin products. She has never give me bad advice, and every visit is a pleasure -- and when you are experiencing threading and electrolosis, that is the highest compliment possible! I have brought both of my sisters in to see her and highly recommend her.

Shohreh is a talented skin care professional who I have been working with for 4-years, following her to her latest location - Salon O Tony. Her approach is not heavy-handed, therefore you leave with great looking skin.

I have found the best way to contact her is at 703.350.3235 rather than through the salon since they do not regularly answer the phone during business hours and she has not received messages I have left for her.

Despite the above-average talents of Tony and his brother, Mustafa, the overall service at Salon O Tony is below par. I recently left the salon because of decreasing professionalism in the form of lying with my head in the sink for 20-minutes with wet hair waiting for a deep conditioninng treatment, Tony's constant distraction with answering the phone while cutting my hair because there is no receptionist, etc. This type of service is unacceptable - particularly when I am charged an average of $180 for a cut and highlight. You are better off going to Bellini to see Christine for a lot less money or going to Elie Elie in the mall for top notch service at price points similar to Salon O Tony. Both Christine and Elie Elie specialize in naturally curly hair.

For the past 3 years, I've been a fan of the Aesthetician, Shohreh who is now at this location. She's professional & expert in skin care. Under her care, my dry skin is cured. The products she carries help with maintenance in between her facials. An hour's with her is relaxing & you come out with glowing skin. She's excellent

I absolutely LOVE Shoreh. the skin care specialist here! She is a GEM tucked away at the salon! She does it all...facials, waxing, massage,reflexology, if you want a special service, she's happy to accommodate! Also she carries a wide variety of skin care products that I now have my husband and son using. Our skin has never looked BETTER! I highly recommend her for all your skin care needs, or just to relax with a massage. Awesome! Thank you Tony for finding her!

Salon O Tony was recommended by a friend. When I arrived, I explained my circumstances (bald spots) to Mustafa who recommended hair extensions. I was very reluctant to get the extensions, but Mustafa assured me that the extensions would not harm my hair and would last about 6 months (with the exception of a few that would come out & he would replace). Within a week, they were coming out, along with damaging my hair. Of the 22 extensions ($600.00) that he placed, 17 fell out within a month further damaging my hair. He did give me a lovely style, but I do not recommend this salon if you have anything other than "normal" hair.

I just had my hair cut and highlighted 2 days ago at Salon O Tony. Tony has been doing my hair for the past 3 years. He listens to what i want and always knows just what I'm talking about. I like to change my look a lot, and he always makes it look perfect. I am VERY specific about my hair, but I always feel comfortable with Tony. I reccommend him to co-workers or anyone who compliments my hair. Several of my friends from the office go as well and are also extremely happy with him!

I am a natural blonde, and made the mistake of dying my hair brown from one of those box kits. It faded to an awkward color, and of course I hated it. I had to get it fixed! So I decided to try Salon O Tony. Mustafa was my stylist, and he did an amazing job. Not only did he fix my awful hair, he gave my a fresh color that was even more vibrant than my own natural color! He also gave me a trendy style, and I get compliments about it all the time. My hair is naturally curly, and he was able to give me tips about how to wear it curly or straight. I have not had a single bad hair day since my experience at Salon O Tony- they have a customer for life.

Visited this salon today after checking out their website and emailing. My 20 month old daughter needed her first trim and it is hard to find a salon willing to work with children with naturally curly hair. No problem here. The responded to my email right away and we were able to get an appointment with a master stylist.

We came 10 minutes late (traffic), and we were allowed to keep our appointment. The salon was brightly colored, well lighted and modernly appointed in furnishings. There is plenty of parking and the location is accessible by a bus stop right in front. There are several high end salon products, with several geared towards curly hair. They usually razor cut naturally curly hair, but since DD was a child, we chose to just have the ends trimmed. DD was very patient with the stylist who saw us. We were seen right away and we were out in a jiffy!

Prices are pretty steep, but to be expected in the Vienna, VA area. Top range is $65 for a style by a master stylist (children's style did not cost this much....the email they sent me stated that they love to serve children, but I felt that we were probably the exception and not the rule.....I could be wrong). The salon products, although high end, are overpriced by 25%. A better deal can be found online.

They specialize in trendy cuts and styles and can handle curly hair. They also do bridal styles, perms, straightening, relaxers, color and hair extentions and nail services......perfect place to go to if you want to walk out with a style that is THE talk of the town or if you like a look that will turn heads, but they do conservative styles too.

The owner is a transplant from New York City and opened up shop recently in the area. All of the stylists are friendly and warm and we felt very comfortable there. Will return in the future.
