Every neighborhood should have a place as cool as this! The windows have been so fun and interesting that I always stop to look at them. Finally got the chance to go in and what a nice place. The gallery was so full of REAL art.. not a boring still life to be seen. I decided then and there to go back and buy a little shadow box to hang up in the hall. I also found a great vintage Hawaiian shirt, the kind they used to make out of comfortable cotton, for only $30.00! There are two art books I want there, a Ryden one and a Biskup one, will have to pace myself. But I did snag a Hi Fructose too! Yeah for hipness in El Cerrito... right in the middle of BlueHair Blvd, too!

Can't say enough good stuff about this unique new gallery & shop in El Cerrito! You have to visit Eclectix to take in all the eye candy, art supplies, cool/fun stuff, handmade and fair trade goods, & off beat art. Great one stop shopping. From vintage clothes to Tim Burton toys, cool art books, mid century home decor and Mark Ryden cards...And the gallery features professional exhibits of all media art with an edge, by local artists. Very cool!

fun art in the gallery, art supplies, vintage dresses and housewares and great art books. i love this store! the women who work there are hot too!its great to have a store like this in elcerrito finally!

I love this new store! They have new & used clothes for kids, with an eye for quality and unique. Awesome toys and fun stuff too..I found a great vintage dress for my kid and some cowboy boots. They also have very nice clothes for adults and so much other stuff... nice greeting cards, wind up tin toys, art books, record albums, jewelry, bobble heads, pirate items, hula dolls, lunchboxes, vintage dishes & housewares...lots of art items!
