I found this car 2005 Nissan Sentra through cars.com at Koons Rockville Ford. I went and saw it on Sunday when they are closed. Then on Monday I went there and I spoke with a used sales person about it with a printed copy of the adviertiment. He told me that I have to speak with the cars sales manager. I spoke with him after waiting for him for 15 min. His name was Mike. He was a very arrougant man who treated me disprepectfully and told me that the price was an error and that he cant sell it tome for that and when he found out that i was not to be pushed around he finally sold it to me for that price but they was he acted was like he was doing me a favor or I don't deserve what he is giving me. I went throught the paperwork processing. From the financial officer, to the other people i spoke with, I did not find any of them to be courtious, kind or customer oriented poeple. After the 3 month pass for the warranty I had to take the care for service due to immission problem and costed me an addtional $1000.00 for repair. I would never buy any further cars from them and as a matter of fact they send me a service coupons to used and when i called to have oil change i found out that he dealership is closed. I an not surpised why I was expecting this to happend with the kind of customer service and miss representing thier sales price that they lasted for a year after I bought my car.

This is THE Worst Place to bring your vehicle let alone a Ford automobile. They will tell you one price then call you a few hours later and explain to you that it is much higher. They will try and gouge and extract as much money as they can from you! I will NEVER EVER take my car to these Highway Robbers of 355 again. Please consider this review before going here!!

I just experienced this at Koons and I had been in constant contact with them for about 1 and a half weeks, confirming the price prior to going their because it was a great deal.

This dealership was obviously using this price to get you in there and waiting for you confirm your interest before they through their "price error" excuse on you to get you to pay more.

This was clear false advertisement considering Koons had been advertising this particular car for over 3 weeks.

I'm andre gatling, local comedian in dc and I am soo upset at what just happened to me there at Koons Ford of Rockville...BEWARE if you are reading this and are considering buying a car from this dealership. You may be getting the car you want but you're not getting it using fair tactics. Buying cars from dealerships that use practices like the Bait and Switch only promotes more false advertisements and good people getting robbed. Your helping the the criminals get away with murder...think about it and go somewhere else.

If you want a decent, honest dealership go to R Stempler Nissan...R Stemler Nissan is the Best Dealership on the east coast, remember I told you that.

Bait and switch usually entails a company enticing you into their store with a low price and then trying to sell you a different product ........... Koons Ford has a new twist ......... they entice you in to the store with a low price on a specific car then refuse to sell it to you for that price but will sell it to you for more.

I've bought many cars in my lifetime and most of the time it was good. This time I was so bad that I would rather go to the dentist then go there.

I found a used SUV listed on Cars.com and I called Koons Ford of Rockville where it was listed. I spoke with the salesman for 2 days about it confirming the price and condition. Koons Ford of Rockville is over an hours drive from my house so I had my son (who lives 10 minutes away) take a test drive. Everything seemed to check out even though the body of the car was not up to the usual standards of a used car lot( big dent in the back and several noticable paint scrapes) which was ok with me. So I arranged for a Credit Union preapproval letter and alerted my insurance co. that I was about to buy that car. I had my girlfriend drive me there with everything ready to drive it off the lot. After a test drive, we were ushered into the sales office and not treated very nicely being moved to 2 different offices and having to wait for the salemans to find another car for someone else. My girlfriend wanted to leave because didn't like the way we were being treated and it just wasn't a pleasant atmosphere ..... but I wanted that SUV. We reported to the sales people that either there was a squeal under the hood from either a loose fan belt or a bad water pump but I wanted that car and showed them the credit letter. They said they wanted to put the SUV in the shop to correct the problem as soon as they opened on the next business day and when it was finished they would call me we could finish the deal then. THey said this 4 times in the conversation. Finally I said ok.

The next business day, they didn't call back. I was showing a friend the SUV I was buying on the internet and noticed Koons Ford raised the price $2000.

I called Koons Ford of Rockville and spoke with the used car manager and the General Manager but they would not honor the deal ............. but they would sell it for me for $1000 more than the Cars.com ad that I had.

I've dealt with many companies for many things. It seems to me that a reputable company would honor the selling price they published .......... this company wouldn't and offered no logical reason why .......... I asked the sales manager why they wouldn't honor the price. He said that I should have bought it whenI was there ....... I said they wouldn't let me because they wanted to put it in the shop ...... He said, that's right because they didn't want me to have a defective car ......... I said, So let me get this straight, I should have bought the car the other day but you would not let me because you wanted to check it out and now you want me to pay you $1000 more for the same car. He said yes ........... and when I had this conversation, the car had just gone in the shop so the price increase couldn't have been for repairs.

I got the same kind of logic from the General Manager.

Seems like I'm not the only one that has a problem with them ...... they have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau because they haven't responded to the complaints that have been filed against them.

Judge for yourself but I would never even consider a car from Koons Ford of Rockville.
