I drove down to get a garden product. They were out, but asked me to call next day to see if it was in.

Home Depot is phone hell at any time, but today was hopeless. I'll just buy product locally and save my time and nerves even if I pay $$.

I call the regular number; get the mile-long list of prompts; click on garden; for the next 10 min. get alternating woman's voice promising I'll be connected soon -- and man's voice pushing some product or other; I didn't bother to listen.

After a while I called back; same drill. I clicked on another prompt just to get to a human. Same drill.

I got kicked back to the Operator. Asked her for the store manager. She gave me to a semi-literate male whom I couldn't understand.

He hung up on me.

How do these a$$holes get away with this kind of service?

I am a contractor. I have spent thousands of dollars at this location. I purchased a Ridgid tile saw last month. I did not like the way it cut and attempted to return the saw within the 30 day return policy. I found out through all of this that the store manager has the authority to return or not return any product, even if it is within the 30 day period. The manager I dealt with was Lance Diller. One of the most arrogant, pompous and rude individuals I have come into contact with. He demanded to speak with my boss about why we wanted to return the product (i purchased the saw with my credit card). I am the customer, nobody else. His whole demeanor was so disgusting and arrogant. I honestly thought I was dealing with a child. I couldn't believe it. Lance was extremely sarcastic as I was leaving. I hope I see this gentleman out and about someday. I don't know what happened to customer service, but Lance should be fired and replaced by someone who cares just a little bit about their customers.

I had several companies come to my home. Several of them gave me "buy it now" "discount" pricing. Mostly I felt pressured.

I went to the Marina home Depot and had to wait a little. They sent out their Home rep. He came out and gave me a great price in comparison to most of them. My husband liked the argon. One company was lower price but I didnt like their window.

My warranty is double lifetime, they look great, no discount pricing and no pressure. I'm quite pleased.
