A message from Elliptical Bodywork

Leave the rose petals at home and the hot rocks in the riverbed. These treatments embody skillful human touch. The massages are in tempo with the rhythm of your breath, reaching deeper releases by following the exhale. The depth of pressure is firm, per your discretion, while not crossing the threshold into pain. Often, the therapist is working two related areas simultaneously, encouraging tension to dissolve. Sessions can be tailored to focus on your precise area(s) of need, or include the whole body. The art of Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) shares deep lineage with acupuncture, acupressure, and traditional Chinese energy theory. Its unique beauty lies in gentle, relaxing touch (no needles or "deep pressure" required) and a rich body of self-help exercises. JSJ is ideal for complex conditions and is appropriate for any age or level of fragility. Treatments are provided over clothing.

Help for fatigue and pain. 5 Star Rating - World class

Forget those froofy spas where the massage therapist don't even remember your name at the end of the day. Jeremy is an experienced private practitioner who works with you on a personal level, to address your specific health concerns. His modalities focus on healing the whole self: body, spirit, and mind. I have been seeing Jeremy for many months now and the differences in my energy level are apparent, (I' have chronic fatigue) as is a significant reduction in the joint pain I've been struggling with. Basically, he just helps me feel better. I've had a ton of bodywork and this surpasses any outcome, from any other practitioner.

Pros: significant results, professional and warm approach.
Cons: none!

Deep healing with a sincere personal approach. 5 Star Rating - World class

As an athlete, a dancer, and a performing musician, I've had lots of different body work over the years. Jeremy's approach is unique and provides a type of healing not found in typical "massage" sessions. Jeremy practices Jin Shin Jyutsu, also known as "the grandmother of accupuncture," and coupled with his very personable manner, the sessions I've had with him yielded great results for some neck and shoulder tension I've been battling for quite a while. In addition, Jeremy shows a lot of caring and interest in helping you understand just what's going on with the body and how his treatment relates to your whole being. Highly recommended! - Steve S. (SF)

Pros: Gentle approach, informative, nurturing, with real healing on a deeper level,
Cons: Will change your expectations from typical massage sessions.

The only times I've felt zero body pain in the past year 5 Star Rating - World class

The therapy that Jeremy offers is something I highly look forward to on average every two weeks. I suffer from chronic head, neck, and upper spinal back pain (aren't I lucky?) and have tried many modes of therapy over the past 6 years.. With incredible luck I found Jeremy! His sense of knowing where to locate your centers of tension and pain, in conjunction with an incredibly peaceful demeanor (and he's funny too), puts you right at ease within, oh, the first 2 minutes of getting on his table.
The way I've described the therapy to friends is that it takes the best of accupressure and Shiatsu (i.e., therapy is given clothed/without oil), and combines them with very deliberate concentration on those points where your body needs the most help. I highly, highly recommend him!

Not your average massage, most healing and flowing work in all my 10 years of receiving therapy 5 Star Rating - World class

I am a code master, I do nothing but code and I'm very good at it. I have a good goldtouch keyboard and gyration airmouse to help my arms with my carpel tunnel tendencies due to fact I code anywhere between 10-16 hour days but at least I play the whole weekend.

Ive been to all kinds of massage therapist, clinics, hospitals, accupuncture, doctors, etc.. and I can tell you the first time I received treatment from Jeremy, I could not get over how it was the BEST I've ever had and I could litearlly feel theblood flowing through my body and I can feel peaceful and I would take the best nap ever in this very busy world!

I've come to realize it takes money to earn money, so bodywork treatment is no longer a luxury for a person like me but a necessary maintainence. I see him everyweek once and on weeks that come clsoe to 60-80 logged billable hours, I see him in middle of week too. Keeps me healthy and I feel GREAT and I can keep working like a mad man.

I like to work hard and play hard, and I only like to deal with the best given how hard I work, Jeremy is a very unique bodyworker, I am very blessed to have found him!

Pros: Very UNIQUE treatment most effective then I anywhere I could find for GOOD PRICE
Cons: Cant think of any

Attentive practioner, personalized sessions, great results. 5 Star Rating - World class

A friend referred me to Jeremy for Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions, to address my back pain and generally high stress level. I was not familiar with this type of bodywork with at all, and wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say that I am beyond satisfied with the results.

He basically holds different pressure points on the body, two at a time, over clothing, on the massage table (I had the sensation of a connecting line between the two places he was holding on to, kind of a trippy feeling). I went into my first session after having an extremely rough morning, emotionally, and came out feeling introspective and much calmer. I scheduled a second session for a few days later, which was more physically intense. As he moved around to the different pressure points, I literally could feel the energy moving/shifting around in my body. Afterwards, the tension I carried in my upper back was gone; I felt a clarity of mind and very in-tune with my physical self. Felt awesome for the rest of the day. Going back for my third session tomorrow.

Before he started, Jeremy spent a good deal of time talking with me about what I hoped to gain from the sessions (stress reduction, pain relief, etc.) and I felt that his work was highly personalized. He had a calm, attentive, and totally professional demeanor. Jeremy also offers traditional massage and craniosacral therapy, if thats more your bag. Highly recommended!

Pros: professional, effective work
Cons: none
