Let us bring out the "Princesse" in you.
I've been there twice. I ONLY went back becaues the cut was very good. All of my friends and family always say "WOW!, looks great!
when I come back. But when it comes to customer interaction - eh...not so much.
First experience: John was overbooked, and he basically was doing everything for 3 customers at once, and I found myself with my head stuck in the sink for 10 minutes while I waited for him to return. I finally stopped waiting, and asked what was going on. Someone brought me over a towel so I could at least do something with my soaking wet hair. I was there total for almost four hours getting a cut and color. I'm used to two at other higher end salons.
2nd experience: I only came back because I liked the cut and hoped that my first experience was a fluke as they said the "overbooking" was not normal. It definitley wasn't as bad as the first time. I was there for two hours, he wasn't double/trible booked. And though everyone was nice and I don't need someone to make conversation with me, the salon was loud with a passionate employee discussion about something in a language I didn't understand. It went on the all the whole time, and it was hard to connect on any level. And again, I have no problems with other languages, as my family is multicultural too and we speak other languages, but I was completely ignored. (This was the same last time too). In all of my other experiences, I am used to a stylist making conversation if I'm open to it - sort of become friends over the years.
But bottom line is I don't need more friends, I need a great haircut. However, if my FIRST experience happens again, I'm out of there.

This is my first experience at La Princesse. I've had numerous pedicures, and this one tops them all. The salon was very relaxing, and the staff was polite and unobstrusive. Everything was clean and excellently done.

I tried this little salon type spa to get some false eyelashes (the two month kind) for the first time. It took approx. 1.5 hours, which was nice as I was told it would take 2 hours. It was pricey ($180). The salon was clean. Reception help was friendly.
Downside: Once lashes were applied, person who applied them (Linda) just disappeared: I had absolutely no instruction on how to take care of them, what to do if they fell apart, nothing. A little confusing... a little frustrating when not having ever had this product before. I was also told different prices on the maintenance of these new lashes. This causes me reason for worry...(I was told between $14 to $20 every 10 days to two weeks).
