I stop at Cafe Taza pretty often. They can do soy drinks, and they are really small, cozy, and have good coffee. The atmosphere is great, lots of people just hang out there, including the workers. They have funky artwork and it's pretty sweet to visit.

I have been going to Taza daily for 2 years. The expresso coffees are bold and delicious. It's a tiny intimate place where patrons are just as interested in people's stories as they are enjoying divine coffee. The prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding. The best baristas in Buffalo work there. Great place to sit outside at their table to "people watch" or see the bubbles flow from the bubble man's apartment window. It's a little bohemian hub and a center for creative chat.

CT is the quintessential tiny hip little cafe with a couple of seats inside and (in summer) a table or two outside. Coffee, espresso drinks, tea, is pretty well all they have, with the exception of a few doughnuts and bagels, but it's all you need in this kind of place.

Bring your dog by and they'll give him/her a treat. Locally owned and unique, not like that place with the green and white logo
