My name is Russ Lindquist; I am a student of Journalism, of Language and of Law, here in San Diego. My comment here regards Sean O's post, "A sheep in wolfs clothing." I hope to clarify three things for Sean O and anyone who may read his post.

**To be clear: I do not know any of the parties involved--but I do know state law as well as the difference between respectable accusations and unrespectable accusations.**

First, remember that the comment section is openly available. There is no criteria for posting a comment but to have an email address.

Second, Sean O, I entirely doubt your story. I think that if you had really lost $150k by dealing with this person then you would have more exact things to say than the entirely vague, "She introduced and guided me into a bad business deal." Worse still was your unrespectable statement of, "She is nothing but a dishonest loser of a book keeper."

Third, while the previous two examples were simply imprudent on your part, among the perhaps criminally libelous things that you have publicly published here is that the person "acted as an attorney." That is an accusation of a criminal offense: ??No person shall practice law in California unless the person is an active member of the State Bar.? (C6125.)

There is at least one thing in your publicly publishing statement that could easily be problematic--and it would only be problematic for you, Sean O: You can be easily and successfully sued by accusing someone of a crime--especially if such an accusation could reasonably damage his or her business; and your accusations here certainly could.

Sean O, I recommend that, at the very least, you replace your previous comment with something that contains actual and specific information, not just vague accusations.

For those who have read the post of Sean O, I recommend that you disregard his feedback, unless and until he provides more than vague accusations.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!! I will go to my grave giving this evil scumbag bad reviews. She seems very nice but that is all on the surface. After doing my taxes and learning the value of my assets, she introduced and guided me into a bad business deal that she was transacting but didn't disclose the truth about anything. She misrepresented herself and the deal and in the end I lost over $150,000. She lied to me about the conditions of the business, misled me in business transactions so that they would be personally damaging rather than sound business decisions. Turns out she was trying to help a dying friend unload his worthless business for a profit. I was given clean books to review before the deal and extremely messy books were delivered with the business. I later learned she had conducted the same business sale to another former client who lost $20,000 as a result of her actions. She acted as a Broker, an Attorney, a CPA, and an Enrolled Agent for the IRS and she was none of the above. She is riddled with conflicts of interest. Never have I been so scammed!!! She is nothing but a dishonest loser of a book keeper. Karma's a b***** and one day she will get hers. Her assets were all hidden or I would have sued. In the mean time, my only recourse is to tell the world what happened so it doesn't happen to someone else. Go out and search for as much feedback as you can get on her. You'll see others have given bad reviews due to terrible business advice too.

I have been going to Edie for the past 3 years and have referred a number of friends and family as well. She takes the time to meet with her clients and explain not only what to expect but also ways to make tax time as easy as possible! I have been given great advice time and time again and she has been able to maximize my return each and every year. I am truly a loyal customer!!

I'm a big fan of Moses Financial & have been using Edie Moses for the past 9 years. During that time I have referred many clients and friends, who have also become loyal-long term clients- I highly recommend Edie & her services.
