The stylists at Salon Blast are artists.
I can describe the cut I am looking for and Tim knows exactly what I am talking about, and can create a fabulous haircut. The location is convenient to I5, 520, the Udistrict and Montlake. Parking is readily available on the street. The inside of the salon is painted in contemporary colors and the atmosphere is relaxing. I can usually schedule an appointment for the same week that I call. Reasonably priced, for some highly trained hair masters.

How lucky am I that Blast happens to be my neighbor?... Let me tell you. I dropped in on a whim and got an appointment the next day. Lucky for me, I was under the talented hands of Joseph. He transformed my hair style and color into a look I never would have thought to try. Joseph is amazing. His charm and talent made the entire experience one that I plan to repeat. I recommend Joseph to any one who is ready to look their best, and feel confident that someone who is truly talented and creative will be doing his best work. Cheers.

I have owned Salon Blast for 7 years. Every year I travel around the World developing education, and new ideas for hair fashion, and design. In April 2006 I attended the Vidal Sassoon Advance Academy in London. I will be attending their new course again this April 2007. While There I studied with the legendary Annie Humphries, and The senior artistic director Mark Hayes. They are unquestionably the best Artistic directors in the world. Whlle I am in London I will be attending additional courses at LOreal Professional, and Swartzkoff Academy. I also will be working with the American Board Of Certified Hair Colorists. We Study the most efective ways of making colors durable.
About the people I work with everyday in the salon. They are a conglomerate of the most creative minds in the city. Vanessa is adapt with edgy, trendy colors, and shapes. Mariah has a keen eye for sensitive hair coloring, for short cuts, and is up to any challenge. Sonia is a Senior master colorist. She has trend setting ideas, and a big, big following. Julia trained in Russia, then in Seattle with Gene Juarez. She is always on the cutting edge with new ideas, and great trends. Juan is an educator. His students love him. He really has the best people skills. He knows color, face shapes, an hair styles. There are no big egos. I have watched these guys come early, and stay late for their clients, and train artistically on models. We like people, and we love creating exciting hair styles. I have been going to Salon Blast for about 5 years now and I love it. I see Timmy who is a Vidal Sassoon trained hair stylist who just recently came back from London where he attended the Vidal Sassoon Master Academy. Timmy is fast and always does a great job on my hair. He' personable and fun and if you like Hawaiian music he'll put on a CD at your request!

I have only been to Salon Blast twice but that is one more time then I have been to any other salon. On both occasions I felt that Tim, the owner and my hair stylist, listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. I quite often feel like I have to go fix my hair after having it cut and styled and yet after leaving Salon Blast I went out without having to "fix" what the stylist had done. Tim is very personable, friendy, and skilled. I highly recommend Salon Blast. Everything is resonably priced and you get good quality for your time and money.

Tim does a wonderful job and I recommend him and Salon Blast highly. He is skilled, personable, and reliable. I am rather conservative in terms of hair coloring, but when I recently decided to venture out and have a few highlights, Tim had just the right touch and it turned out perfect. He is both respectful of my wishes but encourages me to try something a bit different...I never feel pressured and I really trust his suggestions. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else; it's a comfortable and professional salon.

Salon Blast is a cozy, easy-to-overlook independent salon with a fabulously talented and fun staff. Tim's haircuts and colors are easily the best I've found in Seattle, with the added bonus of being entirely reasonable in price. He is truly an expert in designing individual looks that work beautifully for a customer's hair type and lifestyle. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, with clients wandering in and out like friends, interesting discussions, and Courtney occasionally singing along with radio tunes. A relatively undiscovered gem so far - hurry to book yourself in before the rest of Seattle catches on!

Aarons talents as a stylist and colorist continue to improve with time. I have known him for nine years and it has been my pleasure to observe his capacity as a truly talented man. Aaron has many gifts, but his ability as a stylist and colorist clearly surpasses all others. Aaron has the ability to create a flair for the client that sets him apart. He has a strong sense of style for womens hair. I have seen some amazing hair color and style come out of his chair. He is great with mens hair, but he really shines with color and style for women!

Tim's been cutting my hair for the past 14 years. I've watched him build up Salon Blast and I really like what it has become! Tim really cares about everyone and making sure they are treated right. Everyone at the salon is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The salon is awesome, stylish, comfortable and it is always a pleasure to get my hair cut there. Great job on the web site, too!

My experience to Salon Blast was simply the best salon experience I've ever had. Tim knew exactly what I wanted and my color is better than I hoped. Also, I got the cutest cut which really impressed me because I didn't know my hair could be shaped into such cute and sassy look. Tim is like a real "Edward Scissor-hands" - Kudos to him for my new look.

the promotion for two different visits along with a trip to the lazer center is very valuable. After my first visit to the salon, I was able to get color correction on my hair, along with highlights, moisture treatment, and a cut for about $95 (this will also include the lazer center and another visit at the salon). pretty good value, and Tim (the stylist) was very friendly and knowlegable about products that would be good for my hair. I didn't feel pressured to buy extra items or even to come back, but I definately will.

I've been to several Seattle Salons, and I must say I finally found a true winner at Salon Blast. You've got to try this place out and see Tim! He's the first person to actually take the time to really do it right. I'll definately be back.

Tim did it what can I say. I am very fussy. I love Reds. He added several rich tonal shades. The cut was equally nice. They love it at work, and people have benn dishing out nice compliments. So I thought a good review would serve up his businees. He worked until 9pm on a Saturday
The rest of the salon is very cool. no attitude !!!!!

The Salon Blast is a well lit, comfortable environment to be in for any amount of time. I have my hair done by Brandi Votolato. She is an incredibe hair-stylist wheteher you need a cut or color. She is extremely creative and exerts confidence in her work. I would most definitely recommend checking out this salon.

Salon Blast has a very friendly positive attitude. Tim was great. He had knowledge of the products and was able to answer all my questions. There was friendly conversation, the overall visit was very relaxing and pleasant. I got a GREAT color and a FANTASTIC cut!!! I highly recommend visiting this salon, get the service you deserve.

Finally a high quality fun hair salon in the Montlake area. Tim the owner and the other stylists are warm yet very professional. It's hard to believe that in the Seattle area I can get a great cut and color analysis in a comfortable and trendy salon. It's more then a salon, it's my place!

After years of jumping around from one hair stylist to another, I found Tim at Salon Blast. Not only a great guy, he's a master at finding the right cut to suit my ever-changing lifestyle. I've been back three times and have had three great, different cuts that are fun and easy to manage.

Tim's also a perfectionist who doesn't rush through his work so I know there won't be mistakes that could take up to 4 weeks to recover from.

I highly recommend Tim and gang at Salon Blast. I just don't know what took me so long to fine them!
