Two years ago I bought 2 Avectol 3500 mah , 7.2 v battery packs from your company. They are red in color and were excellent batteries. I run them in a 4 foot model of a PT boat and they were excellent until I followed the instructions you sent me with the batteries and ran them down to 6 v before recharging . One pack ran until it stopped as I forgot to monitor it and now it recharges to about 80% of it's capacity. With a Traxxas speed control they need to both have the same rating.
Is there any way I can return this pack to 100% as it seems that it probably has one damaged cell ?
If not can you supply me with a replacement pack of the same type.
I have recently learned that it is not necessary to run down a nmhi battery before recharging and feel that your company is partly to blame for giving me these instructions. I would appreciate any answer that will help me to repair or replace this wounded battery and get the PT back in action. Thank you for any help.

A couple of months ago when my 7 years old RadioShack brand all in one universal charger suddenly die on me, I went around looking for a new one. I went to RadioShack where I first got my charger at. They told me they have discontinued making that model and the new model are just crappy and are so expensive; $70 for the charger only. I believe I can find a better deal. I went to Staples, Bestbuy, Wal-Green, Wal-mart, and many other stores. Most stores only carry AA and AAA portable charger for $30 to $45. Then when I was looking for a charger at Fry??s and thinking out loud, a customer rep was stocking overheard my objection suggested that I should try Batteryspace.com.
I went straight home and went online to Batteryspace.com. Like he said, Batteryspace got plenty of charger to choose from. The charger that caught my eyes was the BC1HU Computer-Controlled Universal Battery Charger for all size Batteries. This charger offers a lots of benefits. But the one that caught my attention was the Intelligent microprocessor controlled which is will help your battery have a longer life and save energy instead of those timed charger. Powered by an external AC adapter that can use with 120V and 220V (can be use both as international 220v or domestic 120v). The feature Identification of defective cells is very handy (Wow this option really work because I have found 2 dead cells among my rechargeable already). With over temperature and short circuit protection which will help prevent fire for those unsupervised long overnight charge. With protection against wrong polarity which is great if you have small kids who could possible put in the wrong polarity when they try to recharge. The charger also feature maximum charging timer control for overcharge protection. The best part is, with this charger you can mix and match battery. Other charger on the market suggest only charge the same type and capacity battery. The charger can charge AAA, AA, C, D, and 9V NiCad or NiMH at the same time, it would not matter. It also have individual LED to indicate discharge, fast charge, and trickle charge, which is a wonderful option to tell when your battery is ready and which isn??t ready.
Batteryspace offer plenty of coupon and discount that are just laying around the net. I was managed to get 5% off and free shipping. The shipping was superfast. I ordered Friday night and got it Wednesday morning. The charger came in great condition; it is well packaged. The charger work just like Batteryspace site claim. Thank to Batteryspace I saved over $40 for the charger along. I will definitely recommend Batteryspace to all my family and friends. I will also shop again at Batteryspace. I was thinking to grab some of the cheap AA and AAA battery that they got on sale every day since most store carry a typical AA or AAA for $4 a piece while Batteryspace only for $1 each if you buy individual and a lots less if you buy in pack or combo.
