Mail delivery is spotty at best. As I write this, I have had outgoing mail in my mailbox (flag is up) for 48+ hours. There has been some street work going on outside and the mail carrier uses this as an excuse not to do his job. When I call the post office they just say I don't have any mail. I have a mail-order business and get lots of mail daily, so it is not believable that there has been no mail for three days. The customer service representative is extremely snotty and apparently could not care less about my livelihood.

delivery really needs help. Every tuesday after a monday holiday my street gets no mail delivery, Recently, the mail carrier for my route retired and mail delivery has been terrible. I'm sure the retirement wasn't a surprise to them, and they must have had plenty of time to hire and train a replacement for this carrier who retired 3 weeks ago. But don't think post office problems are exclusive to Casselberry. I have had packages I've sent out gone missing (apparently because I foolishly didn't get a tracking ID) so I couldn't prove it, greeting cards (one containing cash, another dumb thing. that I was informed by the postal official in the receiving state that they found the empty envelooe behind a ceiling tile in the employee men's room along with a hundred or so others. They told me they caught the employee doing this, A DRUG ADDICT, who was stealing mail that looked like greeting cards, in search of cash. They asked me to inform them how much was in the envelope. I never received restitution from them. Obviously, the US postal service doesn't feel responsible for their employees' thievery, but owe them five cents and they will chase you to hell and back to get it. I guess they haven't heard of random drug testing. This is the hiring practice of the US postal Service so you can only wonder how many drug addicted, weekend alcoholics and just plain stupid lazy people they employ........but I hear the benefits are great. :)

I just hung up with Sylvia Thompson who's need a lesson in Customer Service! But judging on her manly ways, I would assume she just doesn't give a rats a@@. Her trailer park attitude needs some readjusting. We needed assistance and all she did was yell over the phone and eventually hung up on me. What kind of service is THAT?

I would not recommend this post office. The customer service manager, Sylvia Thompson needs a lesson in humanity. She does not care about anyone's situation and does not try to help solve any problems. They need to find a more caring person for this position to deal with the public. Then it would be a pleasant place to do business at.

This is really about the post office in Fern Park, that I was told is managed by the Casselberry location. I was in the Fern Pk location yesterday and was appalled to see the line of people waiting for service in the middle of the day. I was told the staff has been reduced to only 1 person now due to cut backs and the best person you ever had there, Barry, resigned due to the work overload of just one person. I do not blame him! The poor lady who was trying to manage the customers on her how was so frustrated because she had no help. The man in front of me had approx 20 packages, which meant I (and the customers behind me) would have a very long wait. I know the postal service is trying to cut back because they are short on funds but this lack of service is unexcuseable! If there is a way for you to forward this on to a higher power, please do so. I used to really enjoy going into the Fern Park branch but will not anymore. Please be fair to the staff at this branch and at least have someone come in to handle the misc requests from customers. The lady who helped me was very polite and kept smiling but you could see the anxiety in her face.

What in the world is the hiring criteria at this post office?

Do they ask the individual,
"Can you breathe?"
And if he/she nods in approval...

THEY ARE HIRED!

YES, these are the imbecils that are taking care of your email!

Where in the world did they get these employees, at a liquor store?
Do they have a supervisor?
Don't go to this post office, unless you don't mind
losing your mail
not getting your mail
and getting an attitude from their employees.

The United States Postal Service should be an organization that produces employees that have an urgency in the work they produce, and a pride in their work. Afterall, they do represent our Government, don't they?
Well, that it totally lacking at the Casselberry Post Office, FL.
There is NO SENSE of customer service there! All they seem to have are employees who come in to collect a check and are selective of when they are to work!
One wonders what it is we are paying for, and I wonder most why they keep raising the postage costs. They keep rising and the service keeps declining. Maybe they should put some of the money they collect into teaching the staff there some good old-fashioned customer service.
If you want real customer service, and people that care go to the Fern Park Post Office instead.
