Made reservervations for a group. Avg. menu dinner item was apprx $10-25. We asked if we should order indiv. or family style and waitress (also owner) suggested family style would be cost us less.
So we trusted her.
We all ate and then received our bill. The bill came to almost $1200.00!!! STICKER SHOCK! (which included an automatic 25% gratuity! Our food bill and 3 bottles of wine ($90 total) came to over $850.00and tip at almost $300. How can a group of 22 people (14 were kids, many under the age of 10yrs) eat that much food? Owner basically gouged us with her "family style" dishes. If we were to have ordered individual dishes, our total bill would've been about half! She(owner) said it would be less if we ordered family style but she used that tactic to gouge us!

We have been to other Persian restaurants in Seattle. We ate less here than the other Persian restaurant and got charged more than double the price. Our usual bill at the "other Persian restaurant with just as many people is around $300-$400.

This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The feeling of having been had is terrible!! We told the owner that she basically charged us around $50 per person (even kids) for a meal that should've costed an adult around $25 at the most!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Their storefront is easy to miss, but their food is completely amazing. It's fresh, healthy, incredibly flavorful and just downright *good*. The flavors are very unique without being too wild. The restaurant also has a lot of ambiance (such as walls covered in artwork by the owner, who is also your waiter). It's a great place for a special date or quiet conversation. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.
