I love this place, the food is yummy and the service is great. I have even hosted my daughters first birthday party here and it was the best event. The manager made sure it was all planned well and the appetizers and entrees were very well presented.
I would definitely recommend this place for dinner or even take out, especially the Boulani.

This place is a gem! We had no idea what to expect but having cased the menu first we knew there were several things that looked mighty interesting. When we got there on a Friday night the place was hopping but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Staff were friendly and happy to advise us on what to try. The pumpkin appetizer (Borani Kadoo) was delicious as were the eggplant (Vegi Borani Badenjan) and the Afgani ravioli (Vegi Aushak). The breads, the salad. All of it was tasty, fresh and full of interesting flavors like cardamom, garlic and spinach. Even the desserts rock. It's a bit like India meets Russia as far as the flavors and general approach. Unexpected and altogether a nice break from your avereage meal out. The interior is also quite nice. You must go there immediately and you must bring someone you wish to impress.

My boss bought me a gift certificate to this place and it was amazing! I had never had Afghani food before and its awesome! They had the most tender and juicy kabobs! They have good saucy-rice dishes as well.
the decor and ambience is great as well, you have the option to sit on the floor in a middle eastern ambience.

We had an early dinner at Salang Pass and it was great - the restaurant was not too crowded. The interior was very nice, the service was good, and the food was excellent. One entree is more than enough to fill you up - I had Aushak for appetizer and Qabily Palow for Entree. If you like lamb, you will love the Qabily. Price was reasonable - it came out to about $14/person (w/tax and tip, w/o alcohol or drinks). Will definitely visit again!!
