If you would like to try Indian food, you'll love Bombay Grill.
The food is superior, the service is great and the owner is tremendous. She'll sit with you and explain everything on the menu. She takes to time to make the meal an experience. The question is not if you will come back, but when.

We recently went to the Bombay Grill for supper. The restaurant is very nicely appointed. Flowers on the tables, cloth napkins, etc. The servers were easily the most friendly of anywhere I've ever eaten. The owner/manager came over to our table to check and make sure everything was OK - as they usually do - but it didn't feel perfunctory. It was like she was talking to a friend or acquaintance, not a customer. We had two chicken dishes (Chicken Tikka and Reshmi Chicken( and a lamb dish (Karahi Lamb). They were all delicious. They were served family style and accompanied by rice that was very nicely seasoned. We also had some bread, garlic nan and cheese nan, that were wonderful. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in dining out or Indian food in particular.

i must recommend the bombay grill for anyone who enjoys eating specialty food. in this case, it is indian food.
even if you think that you do not want to try something new, do yourself a favor and go during lunch-time (except mondays) and try the buffet and you will not be disappointed. there are chicken, lamb, beef, and vegetarian entrees. the rice served is cooked with wonderful spices. the breads are very tasty too. save room for dessert because there are two which should
bring you back if only to eat them again. they are rice pudding and mango pudding. each is a different taste
and both get top marks for flavor. i have eaten indian food at the fabled "curry mile," a stretch of over forty
curry restaurants in the rusholme area of manchester, england and the food at the bombay grill is as good as if not better than the food i had over there. this is not only a great indian restaurant, it is a great restaurant PERIOD.

I live in O'Fallon and Bombay Grill is such a great find amongst all the fast food restaurants here. The luncheon buffet is excellent and I enjoy all the dishes. The mango custard dessert is wonderful as well. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food or to people who just enjoy good food. The prices are fair for the quality of the food and the service is great.

Wanting to try something new, we choose the Bombay Grill in O'Fallon, Missouri for their lunch buffet. Most other buffet's in the area are Chinese/American so we did not know what to expect. Neither of us have really had Indian style food. To our surprise, the food was excellent as well as the service. Another welcome surprise is that the Bombay Grill lunch buffet was very modest and seemed authentic. Not at all like the typical Chinese buffet's in this area that offer way too many items that are just heat-n-serve and tasteless.

If you are looking for something different that is very good, try the Bombay Grill. You won't be disappointed.

I live in the SF Bay Area but visit O'Fallon, MO several times a year. Finding this gem was surprising and gratifying. I'll definitely come back to Bombay Grill when I visit again. I'm happy to find such good Indian food in the St. Louis area but am delighted to find it right here in O'Fallon.

I'm a vegetarian but I've learned to not expect much from the restaurants here. They seem to cater more to carnivores than herbivores. Plus, I'm kind of spoiled by the plethora of all kinds of Asian and Middle Eastern restaurants at home. But my brother (who lives in O'Fallon) wanted Indian food so I agreed to go to the lunch buffet with him, expecting OK but not good food. (I expected good service bc, overall, the service in the St. Louis area for all kinds of things is excellent compared to service in the Bay Area.)

Wow! Was I surprised! The food was excellent. There was a moderately good selection (about 4 veggie entrees and 4 or 5 meat entrees) but each of the entrees was very good to excellent. I only tried the vegetarian entrees but my mother and brother tried all the entrees. Neither really like most vegetarian foods but they loved the veggie dishes here. In fact, my mom's favorite dish was the saag (spinach) and my brother's and mine was the mattar paneer (cheese and green peas in tomato sauce). I'm told the meat dishes were also excellent with my mom's favorite being the tandoori chicken and my brother's the chicken curry.

Our favorite dessert was the mango custard. It's not like an American custard: it's more of a soup but with fresh fruit cubes and a creamy texture. The fresh fruit and mango cream was spiced perfectly.

They also had several chutneys and a small salad bar.

The service was also excellent. Both my mother and I use walkers. When we first arrived, a waiter came outside and helped us onto the sidewalk and into the restaurant. He got food for us and was very helpful - because we were disabled, he ended up serving us at least as much as a waiter in a traditional restaurant would have. He was very pleasant and attentive without being at all obtrusive or overly "helpful".

If you like Indian food at all (or if you're curious about it), visit Bombay Grill. You won't be disappointed.
