Ratings_icons Great Seafood!

A new seafood/Cajun style restaurant for the area, just opened this March 07 or Feb 07. Thought I was going to leave hungry but left very full and happy instead.

Service: Outstanding, from the waitress to the manager. Of course it was a new place so give 'em time to get broken in. Then we'll check their attitudes again. But I found them a very friendly and anxious to please group of people. Manager stopped by to ask us how it was and I took the opportunity to joke about the size of the portion I was servered, saying "it was pretty good but I wish I could have had the other half of that sandwich" to which he replied, "would you like me to get it?" I appreciated that and declined. He didn't want me to leave hungry though and twisted my arm to try a piece of the key lime pie. Yummmmmy!

Food: Outstanding! I had a crab meat melt with fries. Loved every bit of it. My wife had the blacken catfish with veggies and said it was, "excellent." Menu had some interesting items I look forward to trying. Lobster wrap, fish and chips and jambalaya soup to name a few. No complaints other than the sandwich was only half portion and I was hungry. I looked at some of the other patron's plates and their portions seemed larger for what they were having.

Value: Reasonable for lobster and crab meat. Bill came to about 14 then some tip for the two of us. Most plates seem to be in the 7 - 9 dollar range for lunch.

I'll definitely go back. Mostly lunch though seemed a small place for trying to get dinner. Enjoy!
