.

Kaw Point, at the junction of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, is a historical location where Lewis & Clark stopped and camped for several days in June, 1804. The park itself has walking trails, as well as historical markers giving details of the history of the area, and a crude version of the campsite has been recreated. In the summer, reinactment events are sometimes held, and there is a small trinket shop open. There are also boat launches available, for those wishing to take to the water.
