La Cigale is our new favorite restaurant in Delray. Just two blocks off of Atlantic Ave., it provides a quiet retreat from the crowds of Atlantic Ave., while at the same time providing service and dining well above any that we've received from the numerous restaurants we have visited in the past.

The tuna steak was without a doubt the absolute best we have had anywhere in south Florida. A huge piece of tuna, seared to perfection and served with roma tomatoes, feta cheese and artichoke hearts. The seared scallops served with a wild mushroom, hearts of palm and asparagus mix, all brought together in a chmpagne cream sauce was out of this world. Tiramisu and lemon tart desserts were a perfect end to a perfect meal.

Our waiter was extremely attentive and informative. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful. The only thing I would have changed is the lighting, we were sitting directly under some bright lights, but so was everyone else. The lighting however, did not take away from the pleasurable evening we had.

We definitely plan to return to La Cigale again and again.
