I had the best food here! The service was amazing! I loved learning about the "ghosts" and the atmosphere was just great. I will admit, I was afraid to use the restroom alone because of the stories!

The 1890's converted mansion is the perfect setting for an elegant meal. The beautiful drive out the Old Mission Peninsula is breathtaking. I highly recommend having a drink on the deck amidst the majestic old growth pine trees while watching the sun set over Bowers Harbor. They had live classical music on the deck when we were there. It was incredible. We moved inside to a true culinary experience. The menu includes a unique twist on some old favorites as well as some more experimental items. The smoked whitefish pate is very good, and the Fish in a Bag is also wonderful. I also highly recommend the fruit crisp. My wife ordered it, and tempted me with a taste. I could not resist! I will be back any time I am in Northern Michigan. It is was one of the best dining experiences I have ever experienced.
