Nina is AWESOME! She's really easy to talk to, because she's compassionate, warm, and very knowledgeable. She had an eating disorder when she was younger, so she understands what it feels like to go through this. A lot of doctors and therapists don't really get it, but she does. She helped me get to the core issues that were underlying my bulimia, and work through them. I'm proud to say I'm no longer bulimic and I owe it to her.

I was feeling hopeless when I went to Nina Savelle Rocklin. I tried therapy before but it never worked. Other therapists listened and were supportive, but Nina was the first to help me make real and lasting changes. She always made me feel safe and I never felt judged. I don't binge anymore and I feel so much better about myself. I highly recommend Nina's services to anyone who wants to recover from an eating disorder.

      Message from Dr. Nina Savelle-Rocklin

Disordered eating is a symptom of the problem, it's not the actual problem (although it sure feels like it is "the" problem). If you are turning to, or away from food, it is likely that something is going on inside that is too painful or upsetting to tolerate. Those feelings can be something you are aware of or they can be out of awareness but not out of operation. Therapy offers "food for thought" to help identify what's going on inside. Make peace with food... and yourself!
