Dr. Nicholas Baiata, DC

I had tried physical therapy, expensive orthopedists, massage -- and was still in pain. Finally, I got relief with Dr. Baiata. He is effective, compassionate and takes time to understand his patient's concerns. His knowledge is considerable, and I trust his judgment. I feel in good hands! Now, I get a monthly checkup to stay limber.

My girlfriend and I have been going to see Dr. Baiata weekly since last February, when we were rear-ended at a stoplight. From the very first appt. I knew Dr. Baiata was a gem. He took xrays of our necks and and explained the injury to us in clear and practical terms. He is always forthcoming about what treatments are necessary and why they work.

But really the reason to go see Dr. Baiata is the adjustments are precise and effective. My girlfriend and I have gone from not being able to move our necks at all to having occasional discomfort to now having full mobility. Along with my neck being healed my posture has improved and I haven't gotten sick with a cold for months and months.

Even though the car insurance is stopping our visits I plan to go see Dr. Baiata every month or so just for upkeep. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is very friendly, professional, caring and knowledgeable. I recently recommended a friend to him and she has been beyond happy with the care he provides.

Pros: Very close to several subway lines, the 6, J, M, B, D, F, V. Close to Gimme Coffee on Mott St., the perfect thing after an adjustment!

Cons: Nearly impossible to find street parking.

Dr. Baiata is a great chiropractor and an amazing healer. I went to see Dr. Baiata after I hurt my neck doing a headstand in a yoga class and the instructor recommended that I see a chiropractor, Dr. Baiata. He possess a calming and relaxing energy and a warm touch as well as an in depth understanding of the body. Dr. Baiata explained everything to me and left me feeling informed and empowered. I felt very comfortable with him and left feeling so much better.

I've never been to a chiropractor before giving Dr. Baiata a shot based on his reviews online. I went to him quiet skeptical, but I needed to give chiropractic a shot because nothing else has worked for me. Dr. Baiata was able to clearly explain to me what was going on with my back in such a way that made complete sense. Then he treated my back with a chiropractic adjustment, which was what I have been needing all along.
I cannot compare Dr. Baiata to other chiropractors because he is the only one I have ever been to, but I found him to be a very honest and gentle person who genuinely cares. Even though I don't have much experience with doctors of chiropractic, he is the best doctor I have ever been to.

Last year, I found myself in excruciating pain from a chronic L4-L5 back issue. I was completely immobilized and could not move an inch without going into full spasm. I had seen Dr. Baiata several times and he had helped me greatly - I wanted to go to him, but couldn't begin to stand up, let alone make a trip on the Subway. Dr. Baiata made a house call - you heard me, a HOUSE CALL in this day and age - gently assuring me that things would get better, working slowly and deliberately to ease my pain. And then, once I was mobile again, I was able to make marked improvement quickly. Throughout all of it, "Dr. Nick" remained steadfast, supportive and expert. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I sought out Dr. Nick for an excrutiating neck pain, and physcial trauma retention from 9/11. As a result I had multitude muscular and nerve problems and was resigned to a life of Pain. Seeing Dr. Nick once a week completely removed all the problems over a period of six months, and eventually resulted in the discovery of one small injury. During the time I was seeing him I had a server foot and ankle sprain which he also treated removing the swelling and fluid from my foot and knees. I have my health back and my life. The man is a genuis of medicine and a true Healer.

Pros: His schedule is flexible and his rates are reasonable.

I started using Dr. Baiata's services for a pinch nerve in my back. I don't know much about anatomy. but just a few weeks later, it was gone. But a year latter I still see him every week, just because it feels great and my posture has improved a 100% .
Not to mention he is the most assertive at pinpointing my problem areas and treating them on the spot every time.
I highly recommend Dr. Baiata's services instead of any spa treatment. This is the best pampering.

Pros: You get, and feel instant results.

Cons: I only see him once a week.

Dr. Baiata is caring, compassionate and effective. After one treatment my pain was alleviated. He thoroughly explained my treatment so that I had a comfort level with him. I came in a skeptic and left a believer. I am deeply impressed by his passion for his profession. I recommend him with absolute confidence.

Dr. Baita is amazing. He's able to pinpoint a problem with minimal direction and fix it with minimal manipulation. After just one session, you already feel better and it keeps getting better every session after. He's accomodating, courteous and does his best to make you comfortable whether you're a celebrity or a friend. The entire experience is always a positive one. Thank you Dr. Nick!

After a car accident I had 3 years ago I suffered 6 herniated disk no medications or physical therapy would alleviate the pain I had making myself believe that I would be living this way for the rest of my life, after meeting Dr. Baiata, he proved me wrong he assured me that I will be living the normal life I had, he is a professional and talented doctor who cares deeply about his patients well being and physical ailments, I'm back on my feet now and pain free all because of him, I HIGHLY recommend him.

In the past, I have been reluctant to go to chiropractors. Unfortunately, my severe sciatica left me with only one option, surgery, which I refused to have. After being referred to Dr. Baiata by a friend, I realized that he was a true healer. His outstanding techiques and professional demeanor was perfect. My sciatica and back pain disappeared completely, and I am forever grateful.

Dr Baiata treated me for a long standing neck injury which caused pain and limited my range of motion. After several months of treatment I have full range of motion restored and little or no pain. I can work out again and my posture has improved. He administers preventative Muscular / Skeletal work on my hand and wrist to avoid carpal tunnel syndrome and other maintenance treatments, all of which have add to my overall sense of health and well being. I feel that I have benefited greatly from Dr Baiata's help. He has excellent technique, is easy to be around,is very concerned with your comfort level and is easy to communicate with. If you are having problems or are interested in preventative chiropractic care I strongly recommend you call Dr Baiata.

Dr. Baiata is amazing at what he does. I have had many sports related injuries and Dr. Baiata has been instrumental in my most recent healing process. Without him, I would not be able to continue all the sports that I do! Also, he is very professional and will take the time to answer all of your questions. I have been most impressed with his deep knowledge and obvious passion for his profession. Until recently, I had never been to a chiropractor and was skeptical and nervous at my first appointment . Not only did Dr. Baiata take the time to explain everything that he was doing and why, he also sensitive to fact that I was afraid he would hurt me, Rather than being offended that I didn't trust him yet, he took a very professional stance, calmed my nerves and did a fantastic job fixing my back. I am still shocked by how effective his treatment has been in comparison to my other doctor who just prescribed bedrest and pain killers.

I started getting chiropractor care @ 3 months ago due to scoliosis that was causing me lower back pain, shoulder, arm and knee pain, I couldn't walk without pain but after the very first visit to Dr. Baiata I noticed that the pain was gone and I could walk and exercise pain free again, so I continue getting treatment on a weekly basis since he's making me & my body feel as good as new. I highly recommend Dr. Baiata because he's a magnificent chiropractor as well as a sincere, kind and caring person.

This Dr is incredible, I?ve have had lower back problems for years. Done many Doctors, pain killers and physical therapy . But nothing seemed to help for long. I?ve been seeing Dr. Baiata for over three months and there?s been a noticeable difference. And I my back hasn?t acted up, I highly recommend him.
