.

An example of contemporary Sierra Vista - it is not flashy, it is not expensive, and it is not gourmet, but it is a good value and comfortable. The bagles, snadwiches, and breads are good and worth the price, made fresh. There are smoothies, sandwiches, pastries, and coffee, to include an espresso bar. However, their drip coffee stands above their espresso coffee, for whatever reason...choice of beans? Barrista? Local water? The drip coffee, eight selections freshly brewed including decaf, was good. Unfortunately, being the small-town cafe that it is, sit-down diners sup from styrofoam cups instead of glass, plastic, or ceramic. Coffee bar has no fresh milk or cream; instead, individually packaged, single-serving half and half. Atmosphere is casual and open. Not as trendy as Starbucks or as refreshing as Voil, but a nice choice for quick brunches or light snacks in Sierra Vista. It is fairly spacious for a cafe; reminiscient of a Cafe Brazil. Also has two or three tables outside on the patio with overhang. Tables and chairs inside and a small section with couch and sofa chair near large windows. Quaint, but not fancy. Service leaves a little to be desired, but staffers are polite. Not much "culture" in personality or decor, but ceratinly more modern than much of the mature, country style of the town, so more representative of a "newer" SV in feel and look. Recommended for the food, not so much for the coffee. Good place to escape to during the day.

A yummy little shop. It seems like there's always something fresh and new. Chocolate covered strawberries, bagels full of nuts and yummy flavors, flavored cream cheese. Not just for breakfast.
