Nothing but problems with the house we rented in Shoreline:
Furnace did not heat entire house...it skipped the bedrooms
Air blowing into the uninsulated house in the corners on the
floor
Mold inside the closets and on the bedroom walls
They never FIXED it , they just kept 'painting' over it and
that is what they call fixing it
They never paid for damaged apparel and electronics that were
overtaken by mold damage
Overall we should have known there was a problem with a month
to month rental and not a yearly lease, the rent was too reasonable
for the neighborhood, and the previous tenant(a nurse)abandoned
the house...mold
The utilities were excessive, and the house was COLD feeling
all the time
We had to use space heaters too, as the furnace only heated
the livingroom and kitchen and a small bathroom
The bedrooms were like root cellars plus there was no
insulation in that house
Basically a very expensive lesson
And the landlord is trying to rent it out again without making
the necessary repairs and upgrades in order for the house
to be liveable
The neighbors are moving out also from another one of their
houses, they have mold too, and the bathtub was repaired
with spray paint....talk about a CHEAP lot of money grabbers.
Owners are busy going on cruises, driving Land Rovers, etc..
you know the type...they think they are sooooooooooooooo
