In an attempt to fix a nasty computer virus over the holiday, I visited numerous big business computer stores (Best Buy, etc). After receiving extremely inadequate service, extravagant estimates & high pressure sales that instilled no confidence, I gave up hope! As I was driving home FRUSTRATED, I came across Bullseye Computer in La Mesa. On a whim, I stopped in w/my computer tower (Tue. 12/27) & met with the owner Bill, who offered OUTSTANDING 1-on-1 customer service by looking me in the eye when speaking & sharing his 18 years of experience & background information about his very small, but capable staff's abilities. Knowing my computer was in great hands, I left it with him in hopes of having it back within a week. Just 2 days later, I received a call that my computer was completely operational (& my important data saved!) & could be picked up. When I arrived, Beverly greeted me with a smile, informed me what had been done to fully restore/repair my computer ($100 less than quoted by the bigger businesses!) & THANKED me for my business. Her PRIDE in Bullseye was obvious; and as a customer, I was proud to be a part of that team! If you want outstanding customer service from a small business that takes pride in their work & owndership, Bullseye hits the target --Dead Center!!

I've been a customer of Bullseye for over 10 years. I've used other services but none have come close the the customer service I've found here. Every computer I've owned built by Bullseye and they've all worked flawlessly. As a matter-of-fact, I'll be calling them today to upgrade my CPU. The best service and the best prices.

Bullseye Computer has been assembling, upgrading and caring for my computers since they opened 17 years ago. In that time, I have had the usual number of computer and Windows glitches and Richard has never let me down in ferreting out and resolving whatever has gone awry.

Like other long-time customers, I have my own stories of a simple fix (a bent jumper or loose fan from too vigorous handling during vacuuming or cat play) done for free when I could have easily been charged for a new part or unnecessary upgrade.

All prices and service fees (e.g. malware removal, formatting hard drive, OS install) are clearly detailed and posted. Beverly or Bill are always very careful and thorough in going over the service requested or needed and provide a written, detailed quote for the repair. If anything else comes up, they call immediately to let you know what they found - usually with a workaround or a choice of solutions.

Best part, they will actually talk you out of upgrades or services you dont need. When I recently took my computer in to finally have Richard download and install SP3 for Windows XP, Beverly talked me out of adding more memory because what I had was more than enough for my computer use - primarily work and some basic Tetris-type games.

I heartily agree with another customer who described Beverly, Bill and Richard as friendly, considerate, informative and fair in their prices.

After bringing in the computer and hooking it up, it was determined that the video card in my computer had failed (just shy of 3 years in use)--I told them to go ahead and replace it with a comparable one which they agreed to do after showing me a comparable card and quoting me a price. They told me due to workload I should plan on it probably being ready in 3 days. A day or two later I received a call from them stating that if I wanted to save some money there was a video source on the motherboard of my computer that had been "capped off" but could be used instead of having to purchase a new video card--I was astounded at their total honesty in letting me know about that availability--most places always take the easy way and let the customer pay the higher price. Right then, I knew I had found a GREAT computer repair shop that really values their customers. I decided to go ahead anyway with a new video card replacement (their price was extremely reasonable) which they did. I received a call from them about the time the computer was to be picked up stating that the computer would not boot into Windows and that in order to correct that there would probably be a loss of some, if not all data on my hard drive. Not being that computer savvy, I never bothered to back up my data so my wife and I went to the shop as they went to the trouble of hooking up my hard drive to another computer so we could view the files on the hard drive that we wanted saved. They were extremely patient with us as we pored over the list of files we wanted to save, the listings of which was very difficult for us to know exactly what we were actually saving. A great big thank you goes to Richard the technician who helped us in this process. They told us to return the following day and everything would be completed--The next morning they greeted us with the great news that while finishing the repair somehow Windows had repaired itself (which it hadn't been able to do earlier) and the computer booted up fine and there was no loss of data. Again, they could have and probably should have charged me for time to do the backup but once again their honesty and true concern for their customers was evident. After having dealt with unsatisfactory computer service at the "big box" stores, I am so glad I have found a reputable computer service facility. They are THE BEST!!

I have been in retail sales for over 12 years here in La Mesa, and have referred many people to Bullseye Computers. I've only heard positive response back, and continue to let people know how courteous and honest this business "prides" itself on being. They are one of a few that I would recommend others to for honest, fair, and reliable sales and repair. I'm writing this review on a "used" tower I purchased from them ("in 2006!!!!) It still runs great! Thanks again to my friends at Bullseye Computers!

I had a horrible experience with this company. I spent almost $80.00 to have them fix my laptop on a $49 quote! And....when I got my computer back, I had the same problem. Repeated phone calls to Beverly just led to more frustration. I'll never give my business to this company again....I felt totally ripped off by them. The bill was twice the estimate and I still had the same problem I had when I brought it in!
RIP OFF!!! Take it from me....take your computer repairs somewhere else!
I feel that this is my only alternative.....to express my opinion through the Internet...because dealing with them on my situation was fruitless.
I don't understand......I have a connection problem.....they say they fixed it....yet, I still can't get online...and I paid twice the estimate! Screw this!!

I have purchased several computers from Bullseye Computer (back to when they were Multimedia). You can not find better computer assistance! Never have I had a problem with any of our 6 computers that they couldn't fix, quickly and at a great price.

I've been buying generic ink cartridges from this place
for a few years now and highly recommend them.

In 2008, I deviated and tried buying some generic/refill
ink cartridges from a store in La Mesa across from
the Jack-in-the-Box on Lake Murray Blvd.

It was a disaster. They gave me the wrong kind (which they replaced), but my documents still printed terribly. I ended up tossing the cartridges and replacing them with cartridges from Bullseye.

This store offers a complete selection of generic laser and ink-jet printer supplies at greatly reduced prices from the manufacturers list price. These generics have worked as well as the original in my printers. One of their specialties is building computer systems to their clients unique requirements and providing repair and recovery services.

We took our computer in and we were honestly told what they could do and what they could not do. They repaired our computer in a timely fashion and charged us a fair price for their work. We would feel comfortable returning for further service and recommending these nice people to others.
