4 Stars: Good scans, personable guy! Good price (by Jessica T.)

I read the other 2 reviews and was a little bit surprised ot read what they wrote. I have been to him twice and had a good experience both times. He knows what he is talking about and basically said the same things that the professional tech I was sent to at Peninsula ultrasound said. As far as the age thing...it is true that the older you are, the less amniotic fluid you have and scans depend on lots of fluid being in front of the body part he is checking. I was told this by a perinatologist at Stanford. The wording was not very sensitive, but he is foreign and might not realize how rude it SEEMS when he says things. He never said anything racist in front of me and I am white(if that matters). I had great pictures/video and he couldn't determine the sex that day because of my baby's position, so he had me come back in for free to check again a few days later. He was good both times. I think he might have made the comment about the stretch marks to the one woman because he is also an esthetician and wanted to offer help in that area- again, I don't agree with the verbiage he used, but I really don't think he is trying to be rude or insensitive. I have 2 friends that went to him and they both had no complaints. He is quick and efficient and has better pricing than the other places in the area- so I would recommend him. If you're an overly sensitive person, maybe you should go somewhere else.

1 Stars: Go elsewhere, trust me!!! (by judy l.)

Talk about a major diappointment as soon as we walked through the door. The website depicted "We are a dedicated, enthusiastic young group of Sonographers", there is no "we". Its a small little room and he is a one man show, there is no RN's (as stated in the site or anybody other Techs)
One huge thing to keep in mind- the owner does not like to be questioned (geez, if we are paying, aren't we allow to ask him questions?) I was getting weird vibes from him over the phone because I did question his website and I also wanted to know his background (fair question-again, all expectant mothers would be curious since any sonograms are pretty invasive and private)

When my husband and i got there we were pretty excited until we met him (owner and supposed tech). He started to show us previous scans which were all pretty fuzzy except for one. Again, we know that sonograms are hit or miss, no guarantees. He went on to tell us why the bad scans- 1) one was a fat woman, so pictures would be bad 2) lookin at my "condition", he would assume my fluid is low, therefore scans would not be good" I wanted him to clarify "condition" and he mumbled cause i am over 35. Wow- at this point, i was ready to knock him out :( I never heard fluid and age affected scans, hmm. Looking at other scans, he mumbled some offensive verbiage in relations to the race of babies, by now, we were ready to walk out or punch him. Perhaps, it is his culture or he does not know how to be PC since his business is brand new. But if he keeps it up, i would guarantee he will not last another 3 months before he gets reported to the State. One more thing, when he stated you will get "5 X 7, be prepared that is is really a 3 x 5, he inlcuded the white border!! With all the 4D cans around and at similar prices, i advice all to go somewhere more established and professional. We thought it might have been a TV prank or joke, but he was for real! We ended up walking out, even if it was free, i was not going to have his creep touch me or be near me.
