Message from WNYMommies
Founded in 2002, we are a group of moms in the Western New York area who enjoy each other's company both online and off. We pride ourselves on the welcoming nature of our community and our "doors" are always open to moms of all ages, with children at all stages! WNY Mommies is a private community for moms only. We do require that all potential members are met in person before gaining access to our message board. This is to protect the privacy of our current members' information, and we trust that as a member, you will appreciate our thorough screening process.

I have been a member for over a year now and I can't say enough positive things about this group. The women I have met here have become some of my best friends and the children that my daughter and son have had the opportunity to get to know are some of the sweetest children. I feel very fortunate to have found this group of absolutely wonderful people!

Being a stay-at-home mom can be a very lonely job. Although it is the most important and meaningful job, you feel like you lose touch with the outside world at times. This group has given me friendship and support to keep me going. When I feel like I am going through something and need advise, I have 80+ moms that have already been through it ready to give advise or to just listen. The play dates are fun for both me and my daughter. I look forward to all of the activities we do! Every new mom should be lucky enough to have such a great support system! I don't know what I would do without them!

This group has saved my sanity! I as well as my kids have made some wonderful friends! I have always felt welcome and there is always something to do!

This is the most friendly group in WNY. My kids and I have made some wonderful friends and had a lot of fun too! It is great to really get to know people - a lot of playgroups you don't get to know people as well cause you just see them once a week while you chase the kids, but w/the online factor, you REALLY get to know the moms. It's great!
