I took my car tuesday 9/15 at 4pm when i was visiting my folks, I asked if they could wash & treat the leather in my car, they offered me a special on a detail for $110, i agreed, paid and they told me to pick it up at 5pm that day. I returned at 5pm and they had'nt touched my car, the attendant told me the detailers left early so they didn't do anything (my car sat in their possession for 2 hours, they never called me nothing).I asked for a refund, instead they offered to give me a gift receipt and clean my engine the next day or when i was available. This thursday i drove from my home in aliso viejo (40 miles) and dropped it off at 12pm. I gave them the gift reciet and reminded them they had told me they'd do my engine without an additional charge, they told me to come back at 5pm. I went to my folks and came back at 5pm, they had not cleaned my rims, they had not vacuumed my car, my mats were wet and they did not clean my steering wheel, nor the back passenger seats.

they did however clean my engine which looks amazing (best job i've seen).

Otherwise I'll be asking for a partial refund considering the drive from aliso viejo, the 7 total hours they had the car, and they did nothing besides the engine, body (minus rims), and half the interior.

they lost both my parents, and 3 good friends as clients after this.

I am fairly picky about where I get my car washed. I'm not super anal, but I definitely expect them to do a good job. Having just moved to the Cypress area I have been looking for a quality place and after reading some of the reviews on here, it sounded like this place could be a great place. Boy was I wrong. It really makes me wonder if some of these reviews weren't put up by the business owners/friends themselves. Notice how two of them use the exact same phrase, "high class place". Anyways, regardless of the validity of those reviews, the bottom line is this car wash is far from a high class place or a good car wash.

When I arrived at the place the attendant approached me and asked me what I wanted. I told him I wanted a car wash and asked him if they do a good job on the wheels. Instead of answering my question he said they could give me a "great deal" for $75. I said, "$75 for a car wash?" Again, instead of answering my question he said, "How about $45 dollars?" I kept repeating that I only wanted a regular car wash and that I wanted to tire dressing and, most important, that they do a good job on cleaning/drying my wheels (I have chrome rims). The guy was incredibly pushy and said that for $20 he could do the car wash, no wax (which I never asked for), and give the wheels an "acid wash" and polish them. "Fine" I told him, and finally walked inside to pay.

A couple of notes on the inside: it's not a dump, but it's certainly not some fancy place like some of these reviews describe. There's basically a cashier, a bunch of stuff for sale like you find at most car washes, a restaurant, and a car stereo parts/repair shop. There is a huge fish tank--with TWO tiny, lonesome fish in it, which I found hilarious.

Back to the car wash, I watched as my car went through the wash cycle on the rail system (or whatever it's called). I didn't notice my car being handled any different than any of the other cars, and I'm still not sure what the "acid wash" was--probably more of a marketing gimmick than anything else. That didn't really bother me at that point since I figured the guy drying and wiping my car outside would take care of my wheels and polish them, since I paid extra for that.

As I waited for my car, I noticed the guy dried my car and cleaned my windows like all the other cars i.e. he didn't take any time to clean and polish my rims. I kept thinking he'd get to it but no dice. When he raised his hand that the car was ready, I asked him if had been told to clean and polish my wheels. He said he wasn't told to do anything different. The wheels still had a lot of grime and water on them (that stuff does require extra effort to clean). I showed him my receipt and told him that I had been charged extra for that. He called over the manager. I told mister manager what happened and he just played dumb. Instead of correcting the problem he told me to get in the car and drive back to where the cars arrive and talk to the attendant. I got back to the attendant and he first played dumb too. I had to yell at him a bit and remind him that I specifically requested and paid for my wheels to be cleaned/polished.

He called over a worker who basically wiped them down and at least dried them off...but still no polish. At that point I was so fed up that rather than waste more energy arguing over the polish I just took off.

Bottom line, I guess, if you don't mind shady pushy sales tactics then this is the place for you. The car wash itself wasn't horrible, but believe me the place is no different than your average, run of the mill car wash, most of which are cheaper. The one good thing I will mention about the place was the hot cashier. =)

I went this place, 'Cypress Auto Spa' which is located at Lincon & Vallyview for the first time last week. One of my friends commended this place. Anyhow, I really loved their services, car was cleaned well and I enjoyed the foods at the Mexican food restaurant inside of the car wash. and by the time that I finished drinking the fresh fruit smoothies from the juice bar, my car was done.
I usually wash my car once a week, from now on, I guess the "Cypress Auto Spa" will be one of my favorite place to hang out.
