I have tried almost every Japanese place in Chino Hills and Kiku and Ojiya have the best crunch roll. I am very particular with the sushi I eat and I can tell you Kiku's is extremely good.

I discovered kiku when I moved to Chino Hills, since I'm always on the lookout for good All You Can Eat Sushi places. Kiku is really good for what it is. Service is always very good,
The selections for their AYCE menu isn't humongous, but it's satisfactory. Their fish has always been fresh. They don't stuff TOO much rice in their AYCE unlike some other places I've been to.
One thing I don't really like is that they don't offer Uni (Sea Urchin) in their dinner menu, where most other AYCE places do. but other than that, I definitely recommend Kiku for a quick sushi fix!

overall not too bad for the price and the sushi i thought was pretty good.
normally i'm pretty wary of all you can eat joints (bad juju from todai back in the day)...but was pleasantly surprised by this place.
for me, uni is the marker of how good a place is and the uni here was great. not stellar, but hey, it's chino hills and all you can eat.
the last reviewer must have come on an off night b/c we sat at the sushi bar as well, and everything was fairly prompt and we got everything we ordered.
didn't seem like a scam to me. the owner even came up to us to make sure everything was ok. nice touch.
now i have a "go-to" place for sushi out here.
so overall, great place for beers and sushi. try it out.

I just come back home from Kiku restaurant, and I am not satisfied with their food and service.

First of all, for anyone who is going to this restaurant, Please don't waste your money at All you can eat deal. Me and my girlfriend were sitting at the Sushi bar. The chef is right in front of us face to face. We placed one order of 8 sushi, and the chef only made 5 sushi (after we waited 30 mins). Then I though the chef may have short term memory issues and not able to memorize which sushi was made and which wasn't, so I made another order of 5 sushi. After another 30 mins, 2 shushi was made (during that 30 mins, I made a lot of eye contacts with him and ask him serveral times). As you can see, we only have 7 x 2 = 14 pieces of sushi in One hour. I was totally pissed and can't wait any longer, so I asked waitress to bring us the bill. The waitress asked me is anything Ok? I told her we just can't wait for any longer even through we are still hungry. I was still going to pay the tips; however, my girlfriend was so angry and stop me for doing that, so I didn't pay for tips (just to let you guys know this is the first time in my life that I don't leave tips at a restaurant).

One more thing, for people who were not paying for all you can eat, they got every orders they asked. Therefore, I believe the chef did this on purpose becasue the restaurant want to make sure all orders are made and charged. If the order is for an All you can eat customers, they don't really care if the order is served or not since they can't charge you more money form it. Anyway, there are still many good Japanese restaurants in Chino Hills, so I don't mind to try an horrible one once in a while. However, for people who are trying to find an OK all you can eat Sushi restaurant for their first time sushi experience, I don't recommend this one. You may end up like us who are still hungry after we paid $50 at that restaurant.
Got to go out for some food now. Good luck and be safe. Bye.

I went to Kiku for lunch the other day and found it to be very good. The sushi is freshly made by friendly sushi chefs, unlike some of the places. I found the service to be really good also. The rainbow roll was delicious. A must try!

I found a new sushi restaurant next to the Harkins theater on Chino Ave. Wasn't sure if it would be good since it was a new restaurant, but IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! I like all the speciality rolls and most of the other restaurants I've been to charge so much for one roll, but here it's ALL YOU CAN EAT! i think i had 4 big fat rolls plus some sushi for $20! I was stuffed! you can even get other stuff off their menu for all you can eat also..

i give it a thumbs up. I actually ended up going back with my co-workers the next day. oh, btw, it's super CLEAN... which is unusual compared to some of the other japanese restaurants in Chino Hills.
