A-Lux Auto

After both calling and emailing with associates about a great deal on a 2001 Volvo S60, I scheduled a trip (of over 25 miles) to see and test drive the vehicle this morning. Right away the salesperson helping me informed me the S60 was "on the second lot." He drove me a few miles across town to discover the S60 was not there either and must have "just been sold". I asked why I wasn't informed of this as they knew I was coming in and he said I should have called in that morning; no apology offered to me. We returned and he tried to show me another S60 on the lot, and brought me the keys-- to find the car (with a higher price and suspiciously low miles) would not even start. I thanked him for wasting my Saturday morning and promptly left; between this encounter, the appearance of the lot and vehicles, and this bait-and-switch attempt (my assumption by the way he handled it all), I would never step foot on this lot or recommend anyone else do so.

I just wanna say what a great experience its been to buy a vehicle at A-LUX AUTO. My own family has bought 2 vehicles and figured i should check them out myself. To my surprise it was a fun process to buy my first car. It is a family like atmosphere...plus they were pretty good at educating me regarding each car and displaying the history on all the vehicles i looked at ( which were many lol ) until i found the right one..and guess what I Love MY CAR!!!! I got to meet everyone and all of them are very friendly and helpful. I defenitely recommend A-LUX AUTO for all those shoppers out there. ;)

I was looking for a car online. When I discovered A LUX Auto I liked their selection then I wanted to read the reviews before I went in and I was very impressed with what I read. I never knew buying a car could be that much fun after I got done reading. I found a car I wanted on this lot so I called and a very nice young woman helped me with my questions. So I decided to go in to look at the car and when we got there we were very nicely greeted and then had freedom to look around. When I found the car I wanted I took a test drive with a very nice young lady while my finace' stayed and had a good conversation with Sean the owner. By the time we finished the deal I totally agree with all of the great comments. The office staff are so funny to watch and listen too its like a close family and you feel like your apart of that it was really a fun experience so opposite from my past experiences of buying a car. My fiance' was going through a family crisis at the time and Sean really showed compassion and it was very meaningful. I definately will tell ALL of my family and friends to go here to see what Im talking about. And I will definately be coming back here to buy my next car

From the moment we walked onto the lot we were treated with the attention it takes to make a shopper feel comfortable with buying a used vehicle that we knew nothing about. The staff was very informative about the vehicle and offered suggestions of how to be cautious when buying a used vehicle. After the purchase we were allowed to drive off with a 7-day grace period to look for a better interest rate. Thank you for making my daughter very happy, and thank you for working with me on finding a lower interest rate. You guys rock!

I normally hate to deal with car salespeople. I flew in from out of state to look at a Ford Explorer. they picked me up at the Green Line Station in Norwalk, and from that point on my experience was excellent. Sean, Marc, Tim, Dora (Jennifer) and the money lady, whose name I didn't get, could not have been nicer or more helpful. They made an expected unpleasant ordeal fun. Thanks, Guys and Girls. I will definitely recommend A-Lux.

I have had such an excellent experience buying a car from A-Lux Auto in Norwalk, Ca. that I wanted to let others know that there is a car dealership that they can trust to be honest, not pushy, provide exceptional customer service, and sell cars that are in great condition at a very fair price.

I live in Virginia and my daughter is in college in California. She needed a car so I looked through 100s of listings on Autotrader. The car with the best value was listed at A-Lux Auto Never having attempted to make such a large purchase without being present, I was definately concerned, as was my daughter who was splitting the cost. However, my concerns were put aside as I dealt with the caring people at A-Lux Auto. They were consistently pleasant and laid-back as they patiently answered all my questions, worked out solutions to my particular needs, and helped my daughter feel comfortable with her first major purchase. In fact, my daughter, who is majoring in Women and Gender Studies, emphasized how refreshing and unexpected it was to be treated so respectfully.

This is the first review that I have ever written on-line but I wanted to help out anyone who needs to get a car in these tough economic times.

Well just wanted to say how excited I am to be driving my beautiful Z4 just what I wanted and found at A-Lux. The staff was great, helpful and knowledgeable I was surprised for such a small place to have such great service. I had to wait a little since there were a couple other people looking at cars but the car was worth the wait. I am a first time buyer and got an excellent rate from them with an extended warranty. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!!!!

This is truly one of a kind dealership...I have been looking for a 2006 BMW for a while, been to several dealerships from new to used and none of them had made an impression on me. Then I when to A-Lux Auto and was surprised to see that for a small dealership and a couple salespeople they had the warmth and kind attitude I was looking for. They were a bit cramped in the office since it's very small and there were a couple other customers purchasing so I had to wait a bit but I ended up extremely satisfied 'cause they offered me a great finance rate.

Recently bought a rx300 from them and love it. I had severe credit problems but shaun was able to get me a excellent rate one half of what I expected. Has a first class service and repair shop also.

I must say when it comes to car buying Im a very skeptical individual, I took a few months looking for the perfect car, one that was a steal, clean, and above all that the salespeople are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had a few to many bad experiences in this process with other dealers, mainly the salespeople, some are like sharks they cant wait to attack and wont let you go until they sell you a car, others simply have an attitude. My experience at A-Lux Auto was world class! Its a small lot but they surely do a great job at what they do. There is not B/S, no sharks after you, clean good looking cars, and above all the people are so friendly and caring. I had a ton of questions for Shawn (owner) which he happily answered with full knowledge. The staff was great and the financing excellent. I had my own financing already but Diana beat that rate with no problemI couldnt believe the low rate I got from them. I swear looks could definitely be deceiving and for the small corner lot appearance you get great deals, great cars and great customer serviceI will definitely recommend it to my family and friends. My experience looking for cars was fairly miserable until I found a beautiful little saab 9-3 at A-Lux. Very skeptical of any car, and any car salesman, I had my doubts though. It turned out, the car was priced far below blue book, in immaculate condition, and all the different guys there went above and beyond with customer service, being far more patient and helpful than I expected from a car dealership. It's too bad others have apparently had a bad experience, but for me, it was a great find, I trust the people there, and plan on going back in the future.

Bought an used car about 2 months ago. Still haven't received a registration. When I called to check, the owner, name is Shawn, told me it normally takes 6 months, and when I complained about the delay, he hung up on me. When I took delivery of the car, floor mats were missing. The owner promised me to find ones and get them to me next day. But, he never called me. When I asked for the mats later, the answer was he didn't have any. Pretty convenient! This guy Shawn doesn't care damn once he sells a car. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS. BIG TIME SCAM!!

First off, the lot looks like a dumpyard, and although their prices are competitive the cars on the lot weren't even retail ready! The 2 cars I came to look at had body damage were still advertised?!
Creepy salesperson, Shawn, ugggggh! So annoying! He stutters and clearly doesn't know what he's doing!
