Putting language aside -- these people have talent with their hands!! I love this salon! I've tried others, and I will NO LONGER go anywhere else! I live in San Jose, but I don't mind going all the way over to SF just for them!

I have Takashi do my hair, and he does an AWESOME job. When I first came in, he was actually brand spanking new! .. that fact made me extremely nervous.. I thought... ehhh a newbie is going to be cutting my hair?? But WOW. I was amazed and now I want him to ALWAYS do my hair!! He was new to the country (about a week new!! omg...), but I could tell by his work that he's pretty experienced and talented at his job.

Although you won't get a nice shoulder/neck massage like what some Japanese salons will do for you, you will get your hair washed, blown and cut to your liking. I usually go in for just a cut/trim (I'm a female) .. and my hair is about semi-long. The price I usually have to pay is about $45.

I used to have my hair done close by at Egomaniacs, and it would range from $50-60 just for a cut. In the end yes.. I was happy, but I wasn't as satisfied as I have been with this salon!! I stopped going to Egomaniacs, and will be having my hair cut at SF Japan town from now on. I very highly recommend this salon!!
