I recently used Granite Outlet (Rockville) and had a fantastic experience, despite some of the poor reviews I found. I worked with the sales associate, Tim Adams, who walked me through the entire process, developed a quote with multiple options in different price classes. My only complaint about the whole process (and pretty minor at that) is I had to make follow up phone calls to Tim who didn't always return my calls by the next day. The prices were great and very clearly explained. We had a very wide selection of granite choices (but would have liked to have the prices of the slabs listed on the samples). The cabinets arrived in the time frame promised and the installer team, led by Charles, was great. They put down protection on the floor, installed the cabinets, new lighting, and painted to extremely high standards and with solid craftsmanship. It took two consecutive days to complete the cabinets and the install was well coordinated with the granite measurement team so they could exchange information. Craftsmanship, Coordination, Quality materials, Customer Service, Selection, & Value for the money were all great.

Check the BBB!! There are many many complaints. They say they dont contract out but they do. Even to people that are new to the trade with no experience!

Got an estimate, left a deposit. Got a measurement and a change in the delivery fee (estimated sq ft was exactly the same as the measurement). Tried to get a refund and they want to keep $200. They want to hold me to the unsigned estimate but won't abide by it themselves.
Stay away. I have to get the credit card company involved to get my money and fixture back.
