We've gone to Sapporo SEVERAL times and always had a great experience. Whether you're going to hang out at the bar/lounge and meet people or sit down at the restaurant...the food has never been dissappointing and the drinks are great. They have a fantastic happy hour that's always fun with great specials!

im a regular at sapporo and they are by far one of the best sushi places to eat here in summerlin. im writing this in regards to chris o's birthday LONG comment. your upset over a 50 dollar girt card that you left in a restaurant at 2 in the morning. did you honestly think it would be safe and sound waiting for you to pick it up the next day?! come on chris. also your upset that the manager didnt say happy birthday to you....how childish are you? im sure if the manager did you would have complained about how they were mocking you when you found out YOU lost your giftcard. Sapporo is great. the service is good, food is great. oh and chris...50 dollars at nordstrom buys you tube socks.

Hi,
I am directing this to someone who overseas the management of the Sapporo Restaurant group. 24 hours ago I was driving to the las vegas location for my 25th birthday party. We were a large group of 20 people. During the party I received a greeting card that contained a 50 dollar gift card to Nordstrom. We were the last people to leave the restaurant at around 1:45am and there were 5 us who left. No one else other than staff members were still in the restaurant. Upon arriving home, 15 minutes later, I realized I did not have the card and i called the restaurant. I asked someone to check the large out door table setting on the back patio where we were sitting for the card. After a 15 minute hold, I was told the restaurant did not have it but that I should leave my number. Today, around 4pm, I thought wow I have not been called so maybe I should follow up. This time I was told the card was there for me to pick up. I thought that is great! But when I got there, the manager gave me the card but it was not in the envelop but rather he was fumbling to put it back inside. The hostess saw my reaction as I gasped when I opened the card and gift card was missing. I obviously was upset and then teared up as the manager then insinuated that one of my friends of must have taken the gift card. I explained to him that since i was the last one to leave literally, that my friends stole my birthday gift card that they just bought for me. The fact that the card was not there but then appeared without the gift card is frustrating and uncomfortable. The manager, in the middle of this, just starred at me, and said he would "investigate" and call me back 15 minutes later. 30 minutes later, he called us, said he would continue to investgate, and said he neither could nor would do anything should it not turn up. I am beside myself that this manager was so quick to supurn 20 paying patrons (none of us have any intention of returning at the moment) especially given the state of the restaurant business in this economy in las vegas currently. It was bad enough that he finished his conversation with us by then accusing the cleaning crew who he said came in at 3am when his own staff indicated the card was not present at 2am. But then, I think to myself, this is my birthday and he didnt wish me happy birthday or offer anything to make the situation better for me, better for the customer. I am sorry you have apparently lost customers in the already saturated las vegas nightlife and dining market. I am writing this because someone should know that this has happenned...

So many people in Vegas think this is a cool place to hang. But truth be told, the service is terrrible and they could care less if you enjoy your experience there. My last time there (and it will be my last) was for my friend's birthday. We had a lot to drink and she left a birthday card with a 50 dollar gift card at the table at closing time. We called 15 minutes after leaving and they claimed to not be able to find it.....lets face it, they stole it. Something like this is really crappy...if they can steal from customers, I shutter to think what they do to the food people pay for and eat. None of the 20 people who were there will ever go back...and honestly, why hang there when you live in vegas anyway!

This is a fun restaurant. The teppan yaki Chef was entertaining and the food was terrific. Our waiter was new and tried extra hard to be sure he was getting it right. Don't miss the lobster sushi. I actually dreamed about it. The decor was very well done. It felt comfortable. Great date place or to hang out with your friends.
This was a great anniversary suprise.
***** Now off to Cupcake Lane Bakery for CUPCAKES......yeah!!!!!!!

In my opinion Sapporo is one of the best restaurants on the west side of Las Vegas. It's spotlessly clean and has a tremendous variety of foods. You can order sushi or a full dinner that can range from Pacific Rim to Lamb Chops. They offer regular table service and also have a number of cook at your Teppan Tables with a full show!

Their appetizers are great and they have a low cost menu as well as half priced drinks during their happy hour from 4 to 7 and their 'reverse happy hour' that begins sometime between 10 and 11 PM and extends till closing.

They also have a bar that's faces an outside seating area. It's a grat place to go!

This Japanese restaurant, an offshoot of the original located in Scottsdale, is enormous with a large bar area peopled this Friday evening by The Young and The Restless and The Loud. The walls are painted in blue and silver and mirrors serve as dividers. The restaurant offers the mandatory sushi bar, several teppanyaki grills and Pacific Rim cuisine. We shared an appetizer of coconut chicken skewers with a sweet chili sauce. The plate was quite attractive with the skewers imbedded in a large pineapple segment. I initially ordered a halibut dish, but was informed it was out of season. I then followed Ms. Westie?s lead and ordered the crab crusted mahi mahi artfully arranged on top of lemon jasmine rice in a black bean buerre blanc sauce and accompanied by grilled asparagus spears. Everything was delicious though I would have been happier if the fish was a little less well done.
