Wow!!!....I visited the Queenston location twice myself recently with an interest in enrolling my soon-to-be 18 mo. old. I visited both times b/t 5&6pm as the children were being picked up. Upon my first visit, the young lady at the desk was very helpful as she and the accompanying staff "oohed" & "ahhed" over a child who was considerated so "smart". Upon my second visit, a not-so-nice lady was behind the desk holding the "same" child (also "oohing & ahhing"), as the parent looked on. I approached the desk only to be ignored for a while which was evident by the look on the parents face. Finally with hesitation, the clerk put the child down & offered her assistance. I informed her that upon my last visit, I was taken on a tour of the facility, given a schedule of meals and snacks and a business card, however I needed an application. The clerk gave me a confused look and replied "An application for what..to work here"??, (WTH??!!). I was dressed in nursing scrubs and only recall the staff being dressed in street clothes with aprons, so where did that come from??. Needless to say I was p.o'ed. Once that was cleared up, she remained hesitant as she studdered "it depends on availability". I verified that a spot for my child was available during my first visit. She reluctantly opened the book to find my daughters name of the list with an anticipated start date before only one other child on the list. However, she refused to give me an application, stating that I would have to first give her $100 in order to reserve that spot. I told her I would talk more to my hubby first then get back to her (yeah right!!). I must admit, I am truly impressed with what the facility has to offer, however a few of the employees seem unhappy possessing an unwelcoming look. Therefore, my experience was not a good one, please get it together!!

I go to Legacy as a therapist to see children. The staff are always eager to do what they can to help is to help the child achieve goals. I have noticed some workers who seem to not want to be there or may come off as cold but I think it's their own individual immaturity and shouldn't penalize the other lead teachers or staff who work really hard. I see SEVERAL different daycares, MDO, and child care places and this is one of the best I've seen. If I needed to place my child - I'd be comfortable for him to go there...and I see the kids and teachers without parents and see them interacting when the parents don't. I do hear from some of my parents that they do individualize the child's need and teach them their full potential, like for reading or writing! Plus, art lab and computer class times and opportunities for gymnastics and other activities! A great school overall!!

My daughter has been a student at Legacy since she was 22 months old...begins Kindergarten next week and will continue in the before and after care program. The owners, front desk and teachers at Legacy are AWESOME and truly love all the kiddos! I have recommended several friends to Legacy (after being recommended to the school by a close friend myself) and thus far, everyone I have recommended has had a great experience. When I pick up my daughter from school each evening she insists on stopping into her previous classes and hugging several of her former teachers....needless to say I can't be in a hurry to get home...be prepared for your child to LOVE their teachers and the school.

My son has started Legacy when he was 22 months old. He has gone to Legacy now for 5 years!! He was in the pre-k class and was reading, writing, and spelling. He skipped kindergarten and went to 1st grade! It is expensive but, it is worth every penny in my opinion.

Most of the staff is still there. This is our first summer in the school-aged room and there are cool fields trips scheduled every day!!

Legacy Learning Center is the BEST!!! My children have been going there for 3 years!! My daughter was in their Pre-K program and was reading at a 3rd grade level upon her graduation!!! My son enjoys the staff in the "Older Schoolers" room very much!! They are both looking forward to what the summer has in store for them at Legacy!!

I can't believe that I am paying so much money for them to care for my children!! There is only ONE worker in the room that seems to actually care about working with the babies. The others don't even smile politely when you pick up your kids, they don't tell you how your child did that day, sometimes your child still has lunch or snot smeared all over their face and clothes (even though you've given them spare clothing in case they get dirty) - haven't these people heard about customer service???

Legacy Learning Center has certainly NOT earned my respect and soon they won't earn my hard-earned money either.

The staff at Legacy are not rude like the other reviewer said, They are loving and caring. The facility never smells like diapers or a day care for that matter, and is always clean. My children are thriving there! My 4 year old is already learning to spell and read. This place is the best!

THE BEST!!!!!! I had my son in there from 3 months to almost two years. The ONLY reason he is not still there is that we moved to Austin. I wish I could find a daycare like Legacy in the Austin area! They had the most loving staff and owners. We still send pictures of our child to give them updates. They retain teachers extremely well which is important for any child. I am currently on my second daycare in Austin. We will see how this one goes! I am an extremely picky mother and Legacy gets an A+ in my book!

I DIDN'T LIKE THE STAFF OR THE TEACHERS OR THE OWNERS!
EVERYONE WAS COLD AND RUDE. YES, IT LOOKS NICE ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT IS THE SAME ON THE INSIDE.

It looks nice on the outside, but it seems they have had problems with inspections from the State. Almost everytime the inspectors came out, they have been written up. I searched other day cares in the same ares and they had ZERO write ups. I just want to know if anyone out there has had any of their children go there and what they think.
