At last! Real New York style pizza from a real New Yorker! Being from the east coast I certainly have missed authentic NY style pizza so a Slice of New York comes pretty darn close. Best purchased by the slice and heated to a perfectly thin and crispy foldable slice. Yumm!
First of all, you will never leave hungry, ever! Their pizza is so delicious and the slices are huge. They have many varieties to choose from. My favorite is their fresh mozzarella and basil, YUM!

Truly a slice of New York in San Jose. This pizza is delicious and passed the test of my teenagers too! Nice big, satisfying slices and fresh ingredients. Friendly atmosphere was also a plus.

Been hearing on the news lately how high cheese prices are, yet I heard they've kept their same prices since opening last year. Will definitely be coming here from now on. Oh, seating is limited but that seems to add to its appeal, along with the cool street decor and friendly guys.

Please let us know if there is ever a problem. -KirkBig slices of real cheese, tasty crust and sauce that's not loaded with grease and pepper. It's a smallish place next to a blues bar down a little bit from Valley fair mall. There are only ~ 6 bars stools, so take-out is the way to go. Rumor has it they're putting a couple of tables outside though. Try the Stromboli's and Cannoli's too!

These pizzas were seriously fantastic. What you should expect are huge slices of thin crust pizza fully loaded with delicious toppings and flavorful sauce. Every single bite was a treat. I tried The City and Bensonhurst and they were both amazing. I really can't wait to have their pizza again.

I moved out from NYC to work at a high tech company in Silicon Valley. Finding real NY pizza was next to impossible. I decided to end my quest for finding my comfort food and opened up A Slice of New York in San Jose. We hope you will join us and and experience what New Yorkers rant and rave about when they say "California pizza ^#^&@."...well, let's just say I prefer this type of pizza.
