We moved June 2008 from Philadelphia to Atlanta and had the most horrible experience with the company, at all levels. From the men who picked up our furniture (very friendly, but not efficient or thorough) to dealing with the management in regard to our lost and broken furniture and the HORRID delivery experience. My fiance had used them before and found them to be reliable, but after their treatment of us just trying to get some reimbursement, I have nothing nice to say about this company and warn all who are interested in using them to find another mover!

We contacted Issac's after spending a lot of time checking them out on the inter net. There were many great reviews and several not so good. We were set up with salesman William Lefevre who came to our house and gave us an estimate of $5402 which pleased us. It was based on 6000 to 7000 lbs. The reality was 11,000 lbs and a cost almost double what we were quoted. ($8500) We were told by Issacs that we had a lot more stuff than they anticipated. I call it low balling. We were told that we would have 3 packers at our house. In fact we had only two. Instead of taking 4-6 hours it took them almost 12 hours. They arrived early morning and didn't finish till 8.00 at night. The two workers were incredible. Strong efficient and very professional. That was the good news. We had a few surprises, one of which is we ran out of boxes we purchased on the Internet for much less money that Issacs and had to buy some from Issacs. That was not so bad, what was bad was the guys packed a few boxes for us and William our salesman neglected to tell us that they charge $45 for packing even a small box. Thank G -- they packed very few. "look out for this little secret".

We were contacted about 8 days later that our truck would be arriving in the next 2-3 days. We did and the delivery drivers showed up on time as scheduled. They like the packers were fantastic workers, very professional and very helpful. Again we were supposed to have 3 helpers and again we received only 2. believe it or not it took them almost 12 hours to unload and bring everything into the house.

To our horror the truck (An Issacs truck) had reloaded our belongings in a warehouse along the way and you would not believe what we saw. All our "fragile cartons of glass and pictures wardrobe boxes and 50" plasma TV were on the bottom row of the truck and the heavy cartons containing books, heavy kitchen utensils etc. were on top of them. Six of the wardrobe boxes were completely crushed. The result was two broken antique clocks, a broken glass on a very valuable antique ships lantern. A broken piece off an antique vanity. A broken glass on a 3' by 6' valuable lithograph. Miraculously the 50" plasma screen was still working. We took out a $60,000 insurance policy but it was a $250 policy. We have not had time to completely unpack all our cartons since we have put approximately 50 into a storage facility so we don't know what else is broken. So far the only missing item was our 6' ladder which the original packers used when they picked up our goods in Westwood. The drivers who delivered our goods said they remembered seeing it in the warehouse they came from. They used my ladder because they came to Westwood without one. With a $250 deductible insurance policy that cost us about $275 it won't help us with our damaged and missing items.

Being a good customer of Issacs I contacted their office manager (John) offering them a service that I am sure would save them thousands of dollars a year. I must have left him 4--5 messages over a 2 week period and he never gave me the courtesy of a return call.

You be the judge of the service offered by this company.

..."Isaacs moved me on short notice from Wellesley to Brockton and I simply couldn't have asked for more. The movers were right on time, packed everything as if it were there own and were the nicest guys. I would recommend Isaacs to all of my friends and coworkers!"

I called Isaacs when my scheduled moving company failed to show up at my Newton home. Within 2 hours they had a professional crew at my home and by the end of the day, what appeared to be a nightmare, turned into the most pleasent move I have ever made. The movers were professional and curteous, and took care of my things as it were their own. They saved the day for myself and my family. Just the fact that their price was reasonable and they were professional was a breath of fresh air.

I have recently employed the services of Isaac??s Relocation Services to my great satisfaction.

The Isaac??s staff exceeded my expectations in both proficiency and courtesy. My needs included the packing and transportation of large computer system parts and other industrial equipment from a basement-level facility on the outskirts of town to a mid-town administrative center.

I thank them kindly for their timely and courteous service.

Isaacs Relocation Service is a moving company that should NOT be used by anyone. Although initially friendly on the phone, the move itself was horrible. The movers were very careless and damaged the apartment building in multiple sites - resulting in several hundred of dollars worth of damages. The movers had admitted to this, but when it was time to pay for the damages, they claimed to not be responsible. Furthermore, the movers stole very expensive music equipment from the apartment, and again claimed to not be responsible. We had an unbelievably terrible experience with Isaac's Moving company and would *NOT* recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE ISAACS. From misquoting, damage, loss, delays, lack of communication this company has it all. We were using them to relocate to the UK and they have been a headache every step of the way. Originally Isaacs quoted to take care of everything from moving out, storage, insurance, shipping to the door of our new home and moving in and reassambling furniture. They have now billed us double the original quote while holding our furniture ransom in their storage in Brighton. Not only are we being overcharged but we are also going to have to hire a separate moving company in the UK to move everything into the home, originally Isaacs UK agent was supposed to complete this. Further details on this disaster of a moving company can be provided to back up everything I have said above and we are now looking at our legal options.
