Are they dentists or magicians? The correct answer is both! Here at Magicland, they have created a place where children do not have to fear the dentist anymore. No more nightmares about big scary drills, no more painful thoughts about the dentist. This place is perfect for kids!
I always had to struggle to get my son to go to the dentist. He dreaded it, due to those nasty cartoons that picture dentists as evil doctors who yank your teeth out. After hearing about Magicland Dental, I decided to make an appointment for my little boy and hopefully erase his fear.
This place is truly magical because after our first visit, My son was very pleased and realized that going to the dentist was not scary at all! (Unless you are getting a root canal! lol)
I am thankful for Magicland Dental and I recommend it to all parents who are struggling to take their children to the dentist.

The other reviews are glowing, and with good reason.
Quick, efficient, and pleasant, the dentists at Magicland Dental are there for the teeth. I never thought I could actually go to the dentist's office in a good mood instead of dragging my heels and dreading it. Even when I had to get 2 cavities filled this week it was like heaven compared to the long, uncomfortable, drawn out hour or so it took with my previous dentist. My dentist had those suckers filled up in about 20 minutes and I was out the door.

Magicland Dental is a great place for children. I bring my niece here, while I myself go to their other location, the Dental Associates of Torrance. Magicland is great because it keeps the kids entertained so they won't get scared and think about drills and other scary dentist stuff.
I highly recommend that everyone bring their children to Magicland Dental because it is simply the best!

Our 1st visit went well for our 18-months old son. There were several children activity centers throughout the waiting area which made the waiting period bearable. The dental chairs are lined up in a row so there's no privacy, but I'm not sure if there were any private rooms as the facility seemed quite large. The staff was friendly and we plan to return for his next check-up.

My five year old son got some cavities and for the first time I took him to my family dental office. He got terrified and cried so much that the doctor could not do his job. The doctor referred us to Magicland which is an office specialized for children dentistry. I got appointment and as we entered the facilities, it was more like a children entertainment center than a typical dental office. My son kept busy playing with arcades and watching movies. When it was our turn, a nice lady Dr. greeted us and jokingly opened the conversation with my son. I privately explained his previous bad experience with dentistry. The Dr. gave us the option of providing complete anesthesia or minor oral sedation. Naturally, I chose the second option. I was warned that my son might still resist, so for his safety, he needed to be secured in case he moved during the dental procedure. Then the Dr. distracted my son by showing the cartoon characters on the walls and led him to the dental chair where a TV monitor was showing a Disney movie from above. My son was scared, but some how he had managed to keep his calmness. He cried a bit, but he was more agitated than felt the pain when the Dr. quickly finished the procedure. She even put protective sealant on the teeth to prevent against future decay. Many dentists have not volunteered this service when I discussed it with my friends. Since then, I have returned for two semi annual check ups and no extra work has been needed. My regular dentist was also impressed with the quality of their work. My son is not quite comfortable with dentistry, but he is more willing to visit Magicland. I am very satisfied with the friendly environment and excellent dental services Magicland has provided for my son.

I definitely recommend Magic land to everyone. I took my 3 yr old daughter because she needed to have 4 teeth removed (they were infected) and the staff and Dr. Michael were great. The staff were very patient with my daughter, gave her balloons, toys, and even put the movie Cinderella for her! Come on, they don't do this at other dentists. My daughter is such a cry baby and I can't make her stop crying with anything that I give her, but at Magic land she did not cry at all, not even when Dr. injected her to give anesthesia!!! That means my daughter felt that she was well taken care of!

I took my two kids to Magicland and I was impressed with the professionalism and service.
The decor is so cute. The kids have their own little door, and there is a train that goes around the office. The doctors and staff went the extra mile to make sure my kids and I had a great experience! They emphasize prevention. They go over diet, habits, etc. I recommend Magicland to all.
The doctors and staff are extra gentle and caring. Best of all they put the kids on a 6 month check up. Thank you Magicland!!!!

I took my daughter to Magicland and I was amazed with the service. They were very caring and very gentle with her. She did have cavities and I was shown exactly where they were. I cannot believe the comments other parents left. I guess some parents don't do their part with brushing and flossing and just want to blame someone. I was very impressed with the experience and expertise of the doctors and staff. I wouldn't trust my daughter to anyone else. My dentist reffered us to them and after the work was completed my dentist was very impressed with the quality of the work. They took their time with teaching prevention. This was more than my dentist had ever done! I recommend Magicland to all my friends and family . I urge you to be objective. No one likes getting their teeth done least our kids. We need to be the adults teaching our kids manners and personal responsibility. At Magicland they did the best possible helping my daughter cope with the treatment. Not only she did not cry or "have a fit", she was very proud of herself!!! Unfortunately some of us parents blame others for things our kids do. I was very impressed with Magicland. I got my daughters teeth fixed there and now she has a new start. I will make sure I brush and floss her teeth. I will make sure I take her back every six month so I give her the best opportunity with acheiving dental health!!!!

Magicland is not the right place to take your children. I promise that your child would not leave there without having major work done. Besides the long wait in wich your child has not eaten for a very long time, they torture your child! they will not wait for the anesthetic to take effect, theyll start treatment right away. They also do work that doesnt need to be done and will try to talk you into everything that your child wont remember but they will who wont remember being tied up to a dental chair with strange people hurting you in your mouth and crying at the top of you lungs!! I really do not recommend this place at all!!!

Although the facility seems appealing at first blush with its "kids friendly" set up, I was not pleased with the results. Magicland told me my child had multiple cavities, would need a root canal and would need some teeth crowned. They also told me that this work needed to be done right away and that my child would need to be sedated, I was mortified. All I know is that when I took my child to another dentist with many years of experience (more than this particular dentist at Magicland) it ended up that my child needed two fillings and that's it. The other dentist also indicated that because of my child was a calm patient there was no need to take the unnecessary risks of sedation! And that a few weeks of waiting would not be harmful to my child's teeth. Judge for yourself.
