Dr Rich Calvo is a crook. He pled Guilty to seven felony counts and served time in jail, his wife and father in law also went to prison for Organized Crime. Apparently being a high priced dentist doesn't earn you enough money. The Yellow Pages are full of ethical honest dentists, no Felon is going to practice healthcare on me or my family!

We all make mistakes, yeah but when you plead Guilty to multiple Felonies in a plea bargain to drop charges of Organized Crime then you are a Convicted Felon! This even with the northwests premier defense attorney, paid for by his wife and father-in-law! Multiple Felonies, not a speeding ticket! This dentist is Guilty as Sin and absolutely NO convicted Felon is EVER going to be my dentist!! Only a Certified FOOL would go to this dentist!

anyone who defends this dentist is misled and uneducated, look at the court records, he is Very Guilty, he pleaded Guilty to a BUNCH of Felonies, no innocent person would ever do that, he may be a wonderful person but he is also a man with Seven Felony Convictions that he pled guilty to in order to drop even bigger charges since they had enough evidence to convict on all of them. If you know your dentist owns multiple Felony convictions and you still see him, you are an IDIOT. Learn about his case and know, don't blindly guess!

Everyone dose something wrong! Richard Calvo is a great dentist and that is what matters. When your with your friends, your speeding home, get pulled over, officer dose a drug check, finds drugs, you had no idea. Now all your family and friends think you are a druggy! Get what I am saying!

Now why would anyone put against Dr. Calvo the unfortunate circumstances that happened to him because he had a dead beat piece of crap wife and sketchy father in law. Dr. Calvo did NOTHING WRONG and his family is one of the nicest dentistry around. It is too bad he was caught in the middle of a crazy family. His in laws deserve every minute in prison. Hope they rot there for what they did to one of the nicest dentists ever!!!! I have been going to him for awhile and would not trade it for anything. He is very gentle and kind and truly cares about his patients and there well being. He and his staff are always joking together and laughing and you feel like family. Whoever has anything negative to say just is screwed up like his in laws.

Dr. Calvo is a great dentist, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes. That doesn't take away from the fact that he is a skillful, gentle, practical dentist. From a professional standpoint and as a former employee of the late Dr. Sidney Calvo and Dr. Toni and Dr. Richard, I can attest that his professionalism and skill at dentistry is nothing short of magnificent. I hope he continues to practice dentistry, to lose him in this profession would be a great loss to us all. Thanks Dr. Richard for all you have done for all your patients!

Get Real! This dentist pleaded Guilty to Felony charges in order to get the Feds to drop charges of Organized crime which carries a mandatory 20 years in prison. It was the biggest case of theft, fencing and money laundering in Seattle history. He got off light because he turned in his wife and her father, and paid a million dollar lawyer. Probably paid off the judge too.You would have to be a truly moronic imbecile to use this guy as a dentist when the phone book is Full of honest, ethical dentists!

Others on here say he was a nice guy, etc., but he pleaded Guilty to Felony counts and is probably losing his license as soon as the Washington State dental board catches up with him. He stayed out of Prison only because he made a plea bargain, turned on his wife and her father, and paid $ millions on a high dollar lawyer. The case is public record. I seriously doubt he will be practicing dentristry very much longer! Nice guy or not, with all the honest and ethical dentists in Washington, only a Fool would go to a dentist who is a Convicted Felon.

Dr. Richard Calvo is a Convicted Felon. Do you really want a dentist working in your mouth who has a Felony record? Go to the Seattle TV station news site king5 dot com and search the name calvo also search the Seattle Times website and you'll learn what his history is all about. Only a fool would go to a dentist who is a convicted Felon. Dr. Calvo's wife and father in law are in Prison. He is on Work Release because he paid almost a million dollars to keep himself out of Prison. Educate yourself! It is highly doubtful that he will have his license very much longer.

I've been going to Dr Richard Calvo for dental work for a couple of years now, and I always leave there absolutely satisfied with the service and performance of his work. Dr. Calvo and the staff always treat me like I'm their favorite customer, and I would recommend their practice to anyone.
I don't care about all of the mudslinging that people are doing about him. My wife and I go to his clinic for dental work and they do a great job.

I'm with the guy who said do your homework and that no felon was going to work on his mouth. Dr. Calvo pleaded Guilty in a theft & money laundering ring involving $ Millions, it is public record, and there is NO reason under the sun that I will allow any convicted felon to be my family's dentist! I believe the only reason he still has a license is that the Washington state dental board has not caught up with his record. Can someone inquire with them? Because he did plead guilty last August, and his family members are in prison. The only reason he isn't in prison is his million dollar lawyer.

Dr. Richard Calvo was recommended to me by a friend. I needed some emergency work done on a crown, I called the office and they were able to work me into the schedule right away. I found Dr. Calvo to be very professional, he was able to to fix the problem, with no pain. I will continue to be a patient in the future and would recommend Dr. Richard Calvo to my relatives and friends.

I have been seeing Dr. Calvo, including the late Dr. Sidney Calvo, and his staff for almost 20 years, and they have always been absolutely fantastic - and I can honestly say I was personally and deeply saddened when his office called and informed me of his passing.
Furthermore, my parents have known the entire family and staff even longer, and I believe that they have treated each new patient or referral as if they've known them as long as me and my parents.
Yes, the events that Dr. Richard was unfortunately tied in to were very untimely; however, I know that they've had no impact on the great dentistry that has been, and will continue to be, provided over the years.

Reviewers need to get their facts (and spelling) straight before they write things that just aren't accurate. I know for a fact that the prices Dr. Richard Calvo charges are fair and reasonable for the area. Fees are set in conjunction with insurance companies and must be approved prior to being implemented.
Next, Dr. Richard Calvo IS the son in the practice (a reviewer below thought he was the father) and his late father was Dr. Sidney Calvo. Dr. Sidney Calvo was NOT involved in the felony case, but Dr. Richard Calvo's father in law was. There is NO ONE else employed by this office who was involved in any way to the case!!!
Finally, on a personal note, I feel that Dr. Richard Calvo provides excellent patient care. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities as a dentist and have recommended him to my own family members.

I had two teeth crowned yesterday by Dr. Richard Calvo. He is a very professional and gentle dentist. I didn't even feel the shot! His assistants are fantastic and made me feel right at home. I don't believe Dr. Rich has a bad bone in his body, and anyone who thinks so, just doesn't know him. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a great dentist at reasonable prices.

They charge $125.00 to clean teeth. That's $40.00 more than most fellow Dentist. Then I find out he's been involved with a theft ring!! The judge was right GREEDY is the word for this family!!!Not going to go there anymore. Watch your bill they over billed me on top of it all. Don't know why the state allows him to keep his license. It's all to much for me. Don't need a convected felon working on me. No thanks!!!

I have met Dr. Richard Calvo once and was put off by him. His son, however, was my dentist and was amazing! He was very good at what he did and I trust him completely. So, just know that the rest of the family shouldn't be held for the mistakes of the father.

I am not sure what to make of the felony charges. From what I understand his wife and her father are to blame. All I know is that Dr. Calvo is a GREAT dentist. He is so calming and knowledgeable that he's the only one my son will go to. What's more, his sister is phenomenal.

Dr. Calvo is in practice w/ his father and sister. Although the rest of the family might be on the up-and-up, he is NOT! I think he is on drugs, one time in his chair was way too many. Face it you are placing your life in his hands and there are enough honest dentists out there. Dr. Calvo is currently facing 32 Felony charges, do your homework and get a reliable dentist! I personally FIRED Dr Calvo and now go to a dentist miles away!
