had a good time at Tao; fun to dance on the stage with the dancers. We were there early and from what I gather, the time you go definitely has an affect on your experience. We got our free drinks around 11 (got in for free by getting stamped at dinner) and we got to avoid the lines too. They played fun music, but i do have to agree that once it starts getting packed and you're forced down to the dance floor, the whole experience got a lot less enjoyable. I understand that clubs make a ton of money through table service, but there is no reason to compromise the breathing ability of your dancing patrons. Once on the dance floor, I was smush dancing, because that's what you end up doing with such a tiny floor and no where to move. We stayed for a couple of hours and left...it was fun and I would go back...I just wish that I didn't have to wear heels.

The beach club is fun, but expect to see frat boys, sorority girls, and of course, those who want to do things that stay in Vegas. Try to find a promoter for this one if you can; it's the only way you will actually have somewhere to sit unless you want to shell out for seats and bottle service. The promoter we got offered us seating and just a minimum that we had to order.

TAO club was a shocking and disappointing evening. I was visiting from NY last weekend and what a nightmare. People with drugs everywhere, I thought was a trendy nice club?
But between 1am and 3am it is out of control and way too many people in that building. If there were a fire not too many patrons would get out alive
Poor management

The truth is that Tao Las Vegas has a high employee turnover rate. You can always find 'now hiring' ads in sleazy newspapers as explained to us by our informed & sympathetic waitress. As for the clientele - too many monied C- students lacking any class for our taste. The untrained and unprofessional help create anything but a mediocre experience for those patrons with even modest sophistication. Instead of bouncers fitting in to the scenery they are oppressive & give you the creeps. Don't get me wrong - we have 'slummed' in some of the best dives in the world & partied from the largest raves to the humblest indie wrap parties and had great times - but Tao is just a bullsh*t scene and a poor refection on Venetian management - I & my guests will never be back, there is simply too much fun to be had elsewhere.
btw - the Remy Louis VIII is only $5000 + 8.10%tax + 20% service charge = $7.600.00 , pretty good considering a bottle retail only cost $1,500. (?!)

It was fun. My girlfriends and I never have to pay to get in and always get invited to sit at tables with some hot guys. Its a fun place if you like to dance and just have fun. Would not recommend if you are looking for a hook up.

This place is far too pricey and crowded (although it was pretty empty this past weekend). I suppose I'm getting too old to want to be groped by teenagers with fake ids or young 20 somethings. I'm in my twenties, but the club, like much of Vegas seems very sleazy. The almost naked girls in the bathtubs are just tacky. "Always a happy ending" Are you kidding me? The music is decent, but I would never go there again.

TAO is really great most of the time. On Thursdays, locals get in free with a NV ID. The music is usually pretty good, and there are different rooms to choose from. The "beach" on the 3rd level is really great during the summer, but there isn't really anywhere to sit down, except on 1 bench on the 2nd floor by the stairs. The bartenders at the main bar make better drinks. They may seem a bit pricey if you're from out of town, but they're pretty standard for the Vegas strip. I'd recommend going there, but see if you can get on the list, because the lines and prices to get in are awful if you're not on it.

A group of my friends and I were in the other night and had a great time. We got a table in VIP area and had great service. The waitress was always around for us to order and kept the table stocked and clean. The drinks were great and the music was off the hook. I will definitely be back!!

One of the best night clubs around. There have girls sitting at the entrance in a bath as soon as you enter. A couple of different rooms to choose from. The main room gets really packed but the side room has more space to move and dance.

we were forced to come to this dump because the person who organized the event picked tao, claiming it was great. our reservation that was booked basically meant that we had to hold on to a vibrating pager and stand around in a crowded lounge with smelly people. the few of us that were fortunate enough to get a seat got to sit on a stained uncomfortable sofa where who knows how many tourist with their germs had sat before. while the line backed up out of the entryway, about 4-5 young girls stood around and did nothing at the hostess counter. after 45 minutes of waiting after the time our reservation was booked, we asked one of these ""model"" hostesses when we could be seated and all we got was attitude. it was so loud we couldn't even hear what unintelligent quip she might have spit out. when we finally got sat, we were put in a crowded room where you could elbow the people at the table next to you. what's better, our table was some nasty beat up round rickety old banquet table that they covered with linen and called it good. the service was pathetic, i had asked 4 times for a soda and our server ""sean"" brought me one only after another person at our table had to ask him for it. we had a party of 11, so this guy did nothing to help us because the restaurant gave him a 20% autogratutity on the checks total. there were other kids who would pour water for us, but if we asked them to bring us a drink, they'd say you had to ask the server. our server ""sean,"" with the surly attitude, who hadn't shaved in weeks, stood amongst other employees and stared at us from across the room, as our glasses got emptier and our table became more cluttered with dirty dishes. the majority of the group of us were all locals, and all work in the service industry out here and there's a reason why we've been avoiding this place, and now we have the proof. the food was way below average. we spent $15 on 5 frozen pot stickers that were just warmed and thrown on a plate with soy sauce, and another $30 for pad thai that was ignored by most as it was passed around the table. they boast about their chef who makes sushi that's packed with mayonnaise and tastes like balogna, and the scallops were way overcooked. the person who chose this place was completely let down, and all the horror stories we've heard about this place were proven to be true. the only thing good about the place is their marketing director, for being clever enough to convince thousands of tourists of his hoax that this place is actually worthwhile. the girly bartenders at tao beach can't even add, subtract, or make change when you purchase a drink from them, and don't even know how to make most of the drinks you probably want to order.\r
in conclusion....save your money. vegas has so many better places to offer. ask your bartender, server, bellhop, or dealer where they go, cuz they know where the best places in town are...and this is not one of them

Yes Tao is one of the best clubs in Las Vegas!! It is, I would say ranked in the top 3 when it comes to nightclubs on the Las Vegas strip.

If you are planning to visit TAO and you want to avoid any of the following:
Standing in line outside the club waiting to get in.
Inside the club without a place to sit.
Standing in line waiting to order drinks from the bar.

Our advice is you should enjoy your night at TAO with bottle service.
The benefits of bottle service include:

Easier entry into club!! ( VIP HOST WALK-IN)
A private table inside with seating!!
Cocktail waitress that will assist you with your bottle.

I have been working in the Las Vegas nightlife for over 8 years and would be happy to answer any of your questions at 702-503-0311 or at Vegasclubpromoting@gmail

Thanks,
Andrew Sinatra

I finally partied at Tao nightclub this memorial day, and I have to say the space lives up to the hype. It was crowded and the music was the same pumping auto-tuned crap that they play at every other Vegas club, but this was one of the coolest looking clubs I've ever visited, which made me forgive some of the lamer elements of the place.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Mesa Costa. The food quality is amazing and the gesture is great out here! We are strongly vegetarians and believe me this one of the finest restaurant for veggie people. The menu emphasizes burgers and heirloom tomatoes which I believe is best in the town. I was impressed by the taste selections of the wines by the glass prior to ordering (opened a new bottle for me). Believe me they are awesome.

This was our 4th trip of the year to Vegas, and this was by FAR the best.

Besides the flight getting delayed, the rooms being more expensive than what we expected, and couple of the girls already getting too drunk from the beginning...we had A LOT of trouble from the get go.

Lets just say we were lost and not prepared.

Well ALL of that didn't matter to our host, Kevin, who took care of our partying, dining, and pool party experience.

At TAO Kevin arranged for us to be walked in by a VIP host right past the long ass ridiculous line at TAO and he took care of us at his very own lounge table with drinks to pre-game.

Then he took care of us at another table and gave us rock star treatment throughout.

He also hooked us up at a great restaurant at the Venetian for Saturday night and planned our trip to LAVO nightclub & Palazzo where ONCE again he gave us VIP.

at TAO Beach on Sunday is where we owned the daytime. Comped daybed + free food and beverage, walking in with Kevin and given VIP treatment.

He coordinated everything from when to show up, what taxi routes to take, to restaurants and even gave us a discount for the last day of our stay there.

If you need a Vegas hook up hit up Kevin Lee (714-209-3387) he will take care of it.

Back to Vegas in 3 weeks!!!

I live in New York and have been to Tao here in the city many times and have enjoyed it so I decided to check out the club in Vegas.\r
\r
The setup was ok, the first level was so dark that you could barely see where you were walking but the second level (which I'm guessing is the main level) was much better. The crowd seemed pretty cool and laid back and the bartenders were also very accomodating... but the bouncers were a problem.\r
\r
After having a decent time all night and tipping my bartenders very well I had a rude waitress try to push me off a wall I was leaning on, when i didn't move she proceeded to have 3 bouncers surround me and kick me out of the club... I was dumbfounded because I had been very laid back all night and was now being treated very aggressively by a heard of bouncers because a waittress was rude to me. \r
\r
Not really sure what else there is to say, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because their bouncers are on a serious power trip and treat people terribly...

We had no reservation on a busy Thursday night and were seated within 15 minutes. Our servers were on the ball and very helpful. Appetizer: Peking Duck Spring Rolls - Very Good. Main Courses: White Tuna Special - Excellent, King Crab Roll - OK ( My local small town Fuji has a slightly better version for $2 less), Grilled Swordfish - Some of the best fish you can eat with an incredible butter sauce. The Sea Bass was recommended highly by the table next to us as well. Dessert: Chocolate Lava Cake with Coconut Ice Cream - Very Good ( Comes with chocolate chop sticks). Drinks were very good. The Dr. Losen Reisling is now at the top of my list. It is a beautiful place and we had great service but it is very loud. I don't know about the nightclub except that if you eat dinner here they will stamp your hand to get in for free and you get to jump the line. They are very strict about attire though. I would definitely return for a special occasion!

Drove out from SoCal to attend the big Halloween party at Tao the Friday before Halloween...this was also supposed to be the Saw IV release party. This was my 2nd time at Tao (my 1st time, not being so good). \r
\r
Now I've partied all over four continents so I do have a point of comparison. Let me just say that TAO SUCKS JURASSIC BALL SACK!! \r
\r
There's more to a club than fancy dcor and cute girls and yes it was packed; guess what, plenty of other clubs in Vegas can boast that. \r
\r
So we got to the club in costume and witnessed the total unorganized mob scene where the bouncers stand out in front and take bribes. We had a package with Sienna and got escorted in by their hostess (good company). Once in, I immediately get berated by some bouncer, telling me to put my mask up (I was wearing an Obama mask for my costume). Apparently they didn't want anyone wearing masks in their club (or they were democrats). What?? Is this not a Halloween party? Without the mask, my costume was unrecognizable and pretty useless...of course no mention of this policy on their website. \r
\r
We make it out to the main level which is filling up fast. First off, no sign (literally) of anything having to do with Saw IV so I don't even know why they mentioned it. Next we ask a bouncer where we sign up for the costume contest...one idiot sends us upstairs, another one sends us downstairs...clearly these people are even more confused than the mob. We sign up at a table where two very cynical people are handing out contestant numbers...they give us a supposed time when everyone is to be called up for judging.\r
\r
Meanwhile I notice that the roof/pool area is closed (two times in two visits). I politely ask another bouncer why the roof is closed and my answer was, ""BECAUSE IT IS!"" Geeze, what an as*hole. Found out later that they closed it for the ""winter"" even though its nearly 80 degrees outside. And once again, nothing about the roof being closed on their website...funny, every other club had theirs roofs/patios open.\r

Still trying to enjoy myself; having a lot of fun with other folks who are dressed up and generally having a good time. Everyone is looser when wearing silly getups. So my costume turned out to be pretty popular and I posed with a lot of people for pics...ONLY to be pulled aside by yet another black-jacket storm trooper who threatened to throw me out if I put my mask back on again. Starting to get really pissed at this point. \r
\r
Now comes the contest time... WTF?? NO calls, no judging, no audience participation... A couple of hand chosen (back room) candidates were walked out on to the balcony and declared winners. HUH? What is up with this place? I've seen fairer elections in Nicaragua. \r
\r
Sooo... After finishing my last $15 drink, we decided to give Tao the finger and look for another venue. \r
\r
My Recap: \r
Cover - Ridiculous \r
Patrons - Most people were pretty cool\r
Bouncers - Total Dicks!\r
Bartenders - No problems\r
Drink Prices - Outrageous!\r
Event - Completely unorganized (charley foxtrot)\r
Management - Couldn't give a sh*t about their customers...you're just a number.\r
\r
ADVICE - Save your money and have a better time elsewhere. Still ten bucks for a double vodka redbull at Rain.\r

Cons: Over priced, obnoxious security, disorganized

My gay friend was repeatedly approached by the bouncers at Tao nightclub and finally they escorted him out. The bouncer asked if he gay and told him that was why he was being kicked out but that his opinion did not reflect Taos opinion. I will never go there again and I suggest other people do not spend there money at a hate club!

I visited Tao in the Venetian believing it was a decent asian restaurant. I was quickly disabused of this notion. \r
\r
Seating: I went on a weeknight with no reservation around 7pm. The place was empty - two tables seated out of perhaps fifty total on the ground floor - but the hostess made me sit and wait. This is to give you a chance to relax in their lounge area and get you to start drinking. Unfortunately for Tao their drink menu is particularly uninspired; half a dozen variations on flavored martinis at $14 each. A poor joke for the alcohol conniseur. \r
\r
Waitstaff: The waiter I received was fairly obnoxious, not because he was rude, but because he wouldn't shut up and let me enjoy my meal. I don't really need a best friend who's always in my face telling me about what an awesome place I'm eating in. If the restaurant has style, good food, and is pleasing to be in, it will show through without being pimped every few minutes. For drink suggestions my waiter was quick to hard-sell Voss. If you've not had it, it's bottled water much like any other but with a prettier bottle and a higher price tag. A place that hard-sells water is more interested in its appearance to outsiders than in serving delicious food.\r
\r
Meal: I went with blackened steak with udon noodles and was served a respectable noodle bowl. The meat was good quality but not otherwise noteworthy. Someone confused udon noodles with lo mein for my dish, a fact I giggled about for the next half hour to follow. Also ordered the scallop tempura; good, but would have been better if it weren't limited to two small pieces. Also ordered kobe beef sashimi. Somehow they've made kobe taste like roast beef. Seriously - go to your favorite deli, have them slice you off a piece of roast beef, and try them side by side. See if you can tell the difference. \r
\r
I couldn't do dessert here; spending more money on average food with a pushy waiter isn't my idea of fun. \r
\r
The interior was very pretty; the sumi calligraphy on the ceiling was quite fetching. Loved the buddha. While the place has style, it lacks ambiance, as you can hear other waiters pushing Voss on other tables full of tourists; you can see tables with unappealing $14 drinks all around; you can watch the cognitive dissonance set in as diners try to convince themselves they're having a great time. \r
\r
They aren't. It's all style, no substance at Tao.

Well for one, it's not hard to find since the line is usually pretty long but it's actually not as daunting to get in as it looks. Once you get in, the downstairs is nicely spread out and it's a nice area to kick back and have a drink. On the other hand, the upstairs area at Tao is PACKED with people, along with additional VIP tables and a dance area. The drinks and service have always been great at Tao and it's a place I'd recommend to people but despite the price I'd also recommend table service there since the large crowd can get a bit overwhelming at times.

Tao is a club that is a must see! We go to Las Vegas every year and always give Tao a visit.

I went there on Thursday night and I had a great time! The people who work there want to make sure everyone is having a great time.

I love the DJ the music is always great if you like dance music. Great decor and you may even see a movie star or two.

Oh yeah, If you want the cheap ViP Passes, go to a website like w w w .lasvegasnightclubdeals. com where you can get las vegas night club passes for only $15 each.

Tao is a place of pure unadulterated fun! Hot chics, hot waitresses handling our bottle service, great music and seemingly neverending club with three different DJ's and dance floors. Plus the decor's not half bad :-). Definitely would recommend Tao to anyone looking for a good time in Vegas and it didn't slow down all the way up to 5am when they had to push people out of the club.

Last night I went out with friends to Tao Nightclub in the Venetian. We went to the back bar where it was less crowded to get some drinks. I set my hat and handbag down at the bar directly in front of me. I made the mistake of turning around to talk. When I turned back around my purse was gone!!!!!!!!\r
I start flipping out and the bartender saw me and asked what was wrong. I told her that my handbag had just disappeared. She immediately described it. She also saw who picked it up! She immediately grabbed security and then actually came out from behind the bar with the security person. She then walked me through the club looking around. She went directly up to a group at some tables and spoke directly to a guy at the table saying that his friend had taken my purse. After some strong discussion between her and him, we turned around and there was the girl with my purse! She walked right up to her and told her that she saw her take it off the bar and that it was mine. The bartender even waited while I went through it. Nothing was missing thanks to the fast actions Barrie! I cannot thank her enough so I wanted to spread the word! Truly my guardian angel.\r
\r
I think her true calling may be as a detective or FBI with that memory of noticing of details, especially at a busy club on a busy night. So when you are at Tao Las Vegas, please ask for BARRIE. Please visit her and please take her your business when you are there.""

My husband and I were in Vegas celebrating our anniversary and decided on dinner Saturday night at TAO. We had show plans at 10pm so we made our reservation for 7:15pm (we were staying at the Venetian and the hotel concierge made our reservation for us). We arrived promptly at 7:15 and were given a pager and told that our table wasn't ready. After TWENTY FIVE minutes, we were finally seated. No one apologized for our wait or tried to do anything to accommodate us for it. The sushi, I would say, was just OK, we've definitely had better. Our waiter was OK....nothing to write home about. When the check came, my husband asked to speak with the manager. A girl that was about 25 came over and my husband explained our late seating and how we were now going to be late for our 10pm show (it was 9:15pm and we had to get to the other end of the strip!). The manager said she was sorry but their reservations run late sometimes and offered us free dessert....HELLO! We just said that we had to go or we would be late for our show. In the end they comped the $8 Edamame, woo hoo. Had this experience happend in our home city, the appetizer/dessert would have been taken care of before we even sat down. For what is supposedly a top rated restaurant, we were supremely disappointed!!!!

My husband and I took my best friend to TAO on her birthday while we were in Vegas. She wanted to drink and party, and TAO seemed like the place to go. The atmosphere was pretty cool, and the wait in line was only about 10 minutes (it was just before midnight on a Thursday night). I had done a little research on club attire for Vegas, so we were all dressed appropriately. However, that didn't seem to matter because I saw quite a few people inside in clothes that I would not consider appropriate for one of the supposedly ""hottest"" clubs in the country. (One girl was in white capri pants with white flip flops--hardly worthy of a velvet rope, which would have been fine except that there WAS a velvet rope and guys with earpieces and clipboards.) The club cover was not as severe as I had anticipated--$20 for my husband and $10 each for my friend and I--but the drinks were pricey and had considerably less alcohol than I wanted in a $12 drink. My husband drank non-alcoholic drinks and still paid $4 each. He was unimpressed with the drink prices, club staff, and packed-to-the-gills-dance floor, so he left and gambled in the Venetian while my friend and I attempted to dance. The music was fantastic; it was a great mix of hip-hop with a little Prince thrown in (my favorite type of dance music) so we were very pleased with that aspect. After about an hour and a half of the dance floor, I was ready to leave and we made a VERY SLOW escape through the crowd, downstairs and back out to the casino. Overall, the music and ambiance are the best parts of the club. The staff pretend that the club is really exclusive but they still let everyone in, so the attitude of the staff at the door is completely unnecessary. Lower drink prices and a bigger dance floor would really help. Next time we're in Vegas I'll be in a different club--there are just too many to hang out in one that only warrants 3 stars.

Tao has a good ambiance and setup. There are two levels for your partying pleasure. It has a good size dance floor and plenty of areas to talk. The downstairs DJ (at the entrance) had a good vibe with his spin. That area is mostly for lounging. Upstairs is where you can really get down. Tao does not have the ""Wow"" factor like other clubs, but it's ambiance more than makes up for it!!

I had the best time in Vegas because of one of the promoters at Tao! He took care of us the whole weekend and it was 20x better than our first visit when we didn't have a hookup! His name is Mike Nagar and you can reach him at 678-770-8286. He'll explain everything that you need to do to get in the club (can be really confusing) and then help ya out for the rest of the weekend! The club itself is phenomenal! It can't be explained, you just have to go! The pool party on Friday during the day is also a blast!

Tao is way overrated! Every time I go there, there is no room to dance on the tiny dance floor and there is only 2 narrow exit/entrance to the dance floor. There is never a long line to get in, and the bouncers welcome everyone like a VIP, even if you are not a shrill, shallow coke mama, like Whitney Houston. Ok, did I earn my dollar yet?

Overkill on the buddha statues, club so large you get lost, bathrooms nearly impossible to find and then you wait long, warehouse-like feeling, floor was slippery, crowd was average, parking is far from the club, need to walk FAR to get there. Go go dancers were unimpressive and models sitting in bathtubs (who puts bathtubs in front of a club???) were stuck up and unfriendly.

SOOOO much FUN!!! OMG my firends and I were there this past weekend and had such a great time! I've been to Vegas a bunch of times and been to a lot of the other clubs, but I think Tao is my new favorite. It was a little crowded, but that just goes to show you how popular it is. The DJs were so great and played a bunch of different mixes. I'm so bummed cause I jsut found out that I missed Erick Morillo by one weekend! Are you kidding me?!

This is such a great club! I love going to Tao whenever I am in Las Vegas. It never disappoints. There is nothing like this in Cincy! The music mix is always great and the crowd is ALWAYS energetic and gets you going! I love it, I love it!

OMG! We had sooo much fun at Tao last weekend!! I would recommend this club to anyone traveling to Vegas. My girls and I flew in for a b-day bash and would not have done it any other way. The music and drinks were off the hook! I think I lost 5 pounds just from dancing. :) Totally recommend this club!

Pros: Total Hot Spot

Cons: Little pricey but then again it is Vegas!

My husband and I decided to go to Club Tao because we were staying at the Venetian. As you well know, you can usually get in to the clubs for free if the venue is at your hotel. We decided to have dinner there and then go dancing after. Much to our surprise, after we were done eating we had to GO BACK outside and wait in the long line! Even though we already had VIP tickets, we still had to get out of Tao just to wait in line again. It was ridiculous -- the line was even wrapped around the corner. Thankfully, my husband had a few words with the manager and pushed our place in line closer to the entrance. We stayed for about an hour and it really started to fill up, at one point we decided to leave because it was way too crowded and upon leaving, I still couldn't believe that there was still a huge line wrapped around the corner -- at 3AM!!!!!

We went to Tao Saturday night. I was really excited because I had heard so much about it. We knew some people who live in Vegas and they said they could get us in Toa VIP with no cover ($20 for girls and $30 for boys). Once we got there about 10:30 the line was crazy outside. I never would have entered if I had to wait in that line. We got in without the line but there are so many bouncers that each one thinks they're more important than the next (too many cooks in the kitchen). So our hookup couldn't get us in with no cover too. Anyway the decor etc.. was nice but that's all. The place is full of girls that look like prostitutes with old men and teeny boppers. Trying to dance is impossible. It's so crowded you can move. There is no point in going unless you buy a bottle. (2 bottle minimum for Sat. night = $400/bottle -> $900!!) What a waste. The music sucked. It was all hip hop. There was no mix- so if you're not big into hip hop etcc... don't plan on dancing. Mary J Blige and Whitney Houston were supposed to be there that night, but we left because it was such a dissappointment. I would rather waste my money on a slot machine, it's more fun!
