I just bought my first home a beautiful condo but the previous owner had a dog for years. We tried to clean the carpet ourselves but it still smelled like dog. So I searched the internet for a carpet cleaner that could get the pet odor out. York Carpet Cleaning came up in my search. I called and got an estimate over the phone it was very reasonable and the technician wanted to wait until he could check the Capet to determine if I needed to spend as much money. I have to say they did a superb job, and I will be sure to call them again!

first they show an hour after the window and didn't apologize, then they promise to remove all stains and restore color. When delivered the stains were still there and i sent the carpet back. they called and said - sorry we forgot to restore the color and it would take another week. So I paid $500 for an 8x12 rug its been 2 weeks and still no rug. i would not recommend these people for anything

As owner of two Pugs who have refused to be house broken, I called York Carpet Cleaning, but only after I had tried three other well advertised carpet cleaners with no success. An amazing thing happen, when they cleaned the carpet, the stains actually disappeared. He said they may not go away completely, but they did. So I thank you so much for saving my carpet as I was completely discouraged. You will hear from me again! Thanks for a superb job!

My apartment's carpet is 6 years old and has never been professionally cleaned - until today! The amount of dirt and grime that Ron removed from it was truly amazing! I can't believe that I've been breathing all of that in! Thank you for turning my dull and dirty carpet (and couch) into something that looks and smells fantastic! After getting estimates from 3 cleaning companies, we chose York because of their price, cleaning process, and customer service. The cleaning staff was very attentive and did not rush through to get it done quickly. I have had the carpets and furniture cleaned by other companies, but this is by far he best they have ever looked. I highly recommend them.

Wonderful! Your technician did a fabulous job. I did not want to walk on my carpet it looked so clean and beautiful after he was finished. I wanted a no residue cleaning and that is what I received. Amazing service. My carpets look great. No hidden fees. The prices were as quoted over the phone. No hassle. I have had others come in and hike up prices once they are there and none of that was a problem. They cleaned my sofa and chairs and people have asked if they are brand new. I called York carpet ?cleaners? to clean my area rug.
They showed two hours late, and from the get go I had a strange feeling about these guys.
They gave me an estimate that was very low and I was very surprised, since I knew what the other companies charge.
I was in a rush because I have invited family and friends to celebrate our 25th anniversary. They picked up my silk rug and told me they will delivered it back in three days ?clean and beautiful?
3 days later I have received a phone call from Oren, the owner, telling me they need two more days since their machine broke down. I got very nerves since my party was in two days and I did not know what to do. Two days after my anniversary party was over I got my carpet in a treble condition. It was not clean and much wrinkled.
On top of that I had to pay them twice then I was originally told.
Stay away from YORK!!

My rugs did come back clean, but I could not have gotten worse service from this company. The estimate that was given to me over the phone was less than half of the price of the quote I ultimately received. I was told that was because the person on the phone had given me an estimate for cleaning two synthetic rugs, but I could not have been clearer with her that my rugs are wool. Against my better judgment, I went ahead and let them take my rugs anyway (I had just moved, my rugs were sitting rolled up in the middle of my living room, and I didn't have the time to make appointments with other cleaners to get other quotes). My delivery was supposed to take place last Friday (it was written on my work order). After waiting 2 hours for them to come, I called and found out that they didn't even have me on the schedule for that day. I asked for the owner to call me ASAP; 2 hours later he finally called to say there had been a glitch in their computer system. We rescheduled for today. I explained to him that it was difficult for me to be out of the office during the day. He promised me a delivery between 2:00pm and 3:00pm; at 2:50pm he called to say they were on their way and would be there in 20 min. They didn't arrive until after 3:35pm.

The minute he walked into my bedroom he said they were going to have a major problem rolling out the rug because of my bed. This I cannot understand, as a) he looked at my bedroom when he came to pick up the rugs, and b) my bed is just a mattress and box spring on a metal frame with wheels that moves quite easily. Even I can lift up 1/2 of it with one other person! He was going to disassemble the entire thing (and not happily) and move it out of the room until I prevailed upon him that this was not necessary. I would expect that someone in the carpet cleaning business would be prepared to move furniture as needed.

I have to say, when Ron first quoted me the price, it was more than what I had originally wanted to spend, but I decided to give them a try anyway, my rugs were sooo dirty. Well, when he brought the rugs back, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY!! They looked BRAND NEW!! I could not have asked for anything better. Ron is a really sweet guy, and he delivered them when he said he would, within my timeframe. You can use these guys with the utmost confidence. They may be
slightly more expensive (he will work with you), but it is worth every penny. They are definitely THE BEST. They get my highest recommendation.

I contacted your company for the cleaning of my Persian rugs. Your office staff
immediately arranged for an estimate. Ron arrived for the estimate on the day and
at the time agreed upon (September 19, 2006).
It was clear that Ron was very Knowledgeable regarding the rugs cleaning process
and the maintenance of fine rugs. through Ron's information and education I agreed
to have the color of one of my Persian rugs enhanced and the edging repaired.
Ron informed me that he would deliver the cleaned rugs on the October 3rd, 20006
I want to complement your company and your staff on the prompt, courteous and
professional manner by which they conduct business. Ron arrived to my home in

I'd like to thank Ron, of York Carpet Cleaning for his gracious handling of, not only my one-of-a kind carpet, but my worry and concern over my favorite (and irreplaceable) carpet, picked out on once in a lifetime trip to Istanbul! Ron handled each and every concern I raised, easily and convincingly, though i only breathed a sigh of relief when he returned my cleaned carpet. The results are so beautiful, that I gave away the table that used to partially hide my carpet, because it is now such a pleasure to enjoy all it's vibrancy anew.
