Went to this restaurant with a party of four on a recent weeknight (about a week ago). It was about half full, and the hostess asked if had reservations, which we didn't, and when I told her this she looked around nervously and said, "I'll see if we have any tables." Ok, so maybe they expected it to fill up? The server was young and polite, but inexperienced. It's a large place and strangely laid out, and it was really loud despite the fact that it was only half-full...bad acoustics!

The salsa that came with the tortillas was from a jar, and when we asked for hot sauce to spice it up, we got a small bowl of goop that was the color of mucus and tasted pretty bad. We ordered Herradura margaritas which were made with a horrible mix, so the drinks tasted overly sweet. Our guacamole was excellent because it was the freshest and simplest thing on the menu. My Chile Relleno was supposed to be stuffed with potato, spinach and cheese, but all I found was potato. It was swimming in a soupy and unappetizing black bean broth, and my side of rice was salty and mushy. My friend's lamb was all bone and very little meat, and my other friend left most of his pork tacos on his plate. Nothing had any depth of flavor and no spice whatsoever. For the prices they are charging (my entree was $16) it should be much better. I'll never go there again. It's a waste of time and money.

Avoid this place and try Santa Fe in Tivoli which is 100 times better.
