Back Door Boba

This place is definitely hard to find. The only reason why I notice this place is because it is next to a 24 hours Kinko's on Wilshire. I was curious enough and stopped by once. I had the salmon cake and it was delicious. The coffee was great too. They make up for the small space by having an outdoor patio area. Too bad this place closes so early in the evening or I would go there more often to work since they have free wireless.

Great salmon cakes! Great Chinese Chicken Salad! Menu is also vegetarian friendly! Wonderful art exhibited in gallery fashion, not the usual tacky cafe display, and art is constantly changing! Serves Groundwork coffee, a socially conscious company PLUS baristas pull pretty good shots! They've had some training. Friendly staff & good service! FREE WIRELESS! My favorite place to hang out.

Pros: Free Wireless, great food, great coffee, smoothies, tea & BOBA plus good music & friendly service.
Cons: limited indoor seating but nice because you feel like you're in your living room!

This place is literally a whole in the wall on the Miracle Mile across from the El Rey. They have a very unique menu from tofu "cubist" pasta to Chicken Hobinero Sausage Gumbo. A great blend of class and home cooking. I enjoyed the art on the walls and the large heated patio.
