Not too shabby...  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This was a fairly good hotel to stay at. The rooms were well-maintained and clean. The food was average; buffet style for breakfast at a higher rate than one would expect for the food offered. The rates and location more than make up for the average-ness of the hotel.

Great Stay! 4 Star Rating - Very good

We stayed here in August 2002. We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). When we arrived we were sent on our way to our room. Our room was on the "motel" side of the building and was not the nicest in the least. We went back to the front desk and asked to be moved to the "tower". We where put on the 12th floor of the Tower building and the room was great.. The food was just okay at the "buffet" style restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is kept pretty clean.

The location of the hotel is the best feature, as it is located just across the street from Downtown Disney. No transportation needed because you literally just cross the street.

The hotel shuttle for the Disney parks came about every 20 minutes and was always packed full. I would arrive early for the shuttle to ensure that you can get on.

Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Not enough restaurant choices inside.

GOD AWFUL! 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

You have GOT TO BE JOKING! This is the crappiest MOTEL on Disney property!!! It SMELLS like urine....LITERALLY and is VERY outdated. A complete tear down and rebuild is definitly necessary! This place is in one of the BEST locations in Orlando and honestly this is ALL it has going for it. When my husband, son and I arrived we thought we just found our new vacation destination! Inexpensive and SUPEREB location. When we walked through the doors, however we knew NEVER again. The bell staff is so outdated. My husband pretty much lugged out luggage only to have the bellman wait by the door for his tip. We tipped and cringed.
The room had 4 legged creatures IN IT (I cant believe I cant say R-ACHES on this site!! They were the size of my head no lie! I went to the front desk to ask for a room change. Clearly, I didnt want to share a space with a r-ach and not to mention I have bronchitis and said it HAS to be non smoking. We were on the 12th floor and it wreeked of smoke!! The front desk clerk said they had no rooms and I quote word for word she said the following "Welcome to Florida and that was a Palmetto b u g not a R-ACH!" We prepaid for an 8 night stay and checked out in the morning. We stayed for 2 nights at the Royal plaza and 5 nights at the Hilton and let me tell you...SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY!!! BOTH hotels are SO beautiful and the rooms are gorgeous! SKIP THIS R-ACH MOTEL and DO NOT skimp on accomodations!

Pros: LOCATION IS WONDERFUL
Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE
